This is a one off case where he got his FBI PCC by applying on sep 18th. There are people in the forum who had applied on 21st August and has not got yet.

However one person who had applied on 22nd August did get his FBI PCC on saturday ( 22nd Nov )

So in my opinion people who applied around the end of August should be expecting in the coming weeks.

i'm assuming the FBI is processing the caeses faster ? as from what i see people who applied in august are getting it after 12 weeks , i hope that people who applied later september / october will get it faster ? I think this is what is happeninig and the new system is catching up on speed BUT they will not change the processing timeline until they process the backlog

How did you assume this? I see most cases being processed around the 13 week mark. Those who applied in the second half of Oct, might get it sooner though. But that's just a guess.

Status update :

Called FBI to check the status of my application. My application reached CJIS on Sept 15 2014. They told me that they are processing late August/early September requests. Some application requests do get a higher priority depending on few factors ( which they weren't ready to disclose ).

Please share the contact number for enquiry.
I sent my application on 8th oct. Till now my Cc has not been charged :-(
I want to call and check

Thanks in advance

Coincidently, my application arrived to the FBI on October the 8th. I called last friday, and they told me they were still processing the applications from the 6th. I will call tomorrow, and let you all know... I hope they work this week b/c of thanksgiving break...

Just want to note that very little work usually gets done this week because it is Thanksgiving. If you don't mind, just call next week, otherwise you might just irritate the few of those who do show up to work.

I got the report at my US address today.
Timeline:
application received by FBI: 21st Aug
CC charged: 16th sept
search completed: 4th Nov - need to confirm though
results received: 24th Nov

Has any one done a "LIVE SCAN" print from any of the private agencies?

In NY http://identogo.com/ProductsServices/FingerprintCard.aspx

I scanning was very clear compared to the ink prints.

Did anyone get a printout from the "LIVE SCAN"?
Was it accurate?

In my Police Dept, they too did an electronic scan, and then printed it on the fingerprint cards. I did it in multiple PDs and they each had a different system, but they were all electronic, and printed out the cards. I have no clue if they were Live Scan though.

Even my application was received on Oct 8th, credit card not charged as of Nov 25th. Now need to wait for another week due to Thanksgiving

How was the clarity on those print outs?
Does it lose any fingerprinting "properties" that FBI need?
