Unfortunately, they are getting frustrated because of the volume of calls. Another thing is that the only people going to the FBI are non-citizens (unlike citizens who can go through the Channelers), so they feel that they can treat us however they want.

I'm really curious how your application reached on Sept 7th - because it was a Sunday????

This makes sense. More candidates calling is not going to help fast-track process anyway as it is going to take its own time.

Got FBI Report just now!!!

Just now got the FBI Report. ;D ;D ;D

My application reached at FBI on Aug-22 and I got the report exactly after 3 month Nov-22.

Dont worry guys, you will get the FBI Report but not before 12 weeks.

After submitting the application in how many days u got charged?
My application was received exactly a month before and now news so far....

After a month CC was charged for FBI Report.

i submitted my FBI fingerprints back on Sept 7. Reached CJIS on Sept 15. Have been following up with FBI on once a week basis.They are asking me to expect reports around Dec 15. Submitted to CJIS directly.

Canada Immigration gave deadline as Nov 17, which is past due now. I had sent them a letter explaining the situation. Hoping they would give additional time to submit clearance certificate.

For some reason, if finger prints are not accepted by FBI, what would be my options?

They used a "special" finger printing scanner, that can scan upto 4 fingers at the same time.
The images are scanned into the computer, and transmitted electronically for further processing.
The software is pretty good at identifying good vs bad prints. And shows "PASS" or "FAIL" for each finger print, almost immediately.

This is NOT printed on a card.

Good thing is they process State PCC in 10 days.

Best part is, the same agency is a FBI channeler too. but that specific service can be availed only by citizens or greencard holders.

Thank you very much for this clarification. I think in the US most of the scans are done like this (at least in the 3 places where I live) i.e. they scan the images into the computer electronically. The problem is that if they print it out, the printout is sometimes not clear. I think this was my problem. If it is transmitted electronically, it is the best.

Thank you very much for the confirmation. As akashsar mentioned a couple of pages ago in this thread that they also include the date when your application was put into the machine. Could you please let me know from your report:

- Search Completed Date (i.e. when they put it into the machine)
- Letter Date
- Mailing date on envelope.

Please send your VO an email too to get an extension. If you don't get a response, please do a Case Specific Enquiry.

I think as mohammed.morsy mentioned a few pages ago, they were just opening Oct 6th applications. So I think in about 2 weeks, they may get to you. (Remember, next week is Thanksgiving, so most people take off. I personally would not expect any work to get done.)

Nartcr: You can ask whether the machine has accepted your finger prints or not.

What is your VO? I am under CPC-O, and I can give you the email address. If you are under some different VO, then I cannot help you. The email address is usually in the MR/PCC email though.
