Unfortunately you can know this information by calling them after 12 weeks. They will not know until your finger prints are put into the machine.

Kiwi: I tried to send you a message. But your inbox is full. Did you receive your FBI PCC. I think they must have processed yours.

They are very responsive if you call their contact center +1-304-625-5590

Some thoughts, though they are responsive but because it is very clear that FBI PCC will take 12-14 weeks, so calling them again and again can not help anyone, rather frustrate them only. In my opinion, lets allow them to work on it and fast track rather than having to check so many statuses all day.

For people in US, esp in tri-state area, I completed my first finger printing via http://www.newyorkfingerprinting.com/.
I sent it with my application and CPC-O has not asked for new PCC. So, be assured that their work is good.
You will have to call in for appointment first.
They charge $40 per app I believe (not sure if they accept cash only, ask them when calling for appointment).

I too included the PCC-s I received in August 2013. Luckily CIC did not ask me for a new one when they requested MR and RFPR on Oct 31st. Good luck to you too!

Hi Guys - need your expert opinion. My application date is JUne 25th 2014 - I included the PCC I received from FBI and Indian Consulate in August 2013. I am understanding that I require new PCC's as they have to be within 3 months to the time of application.

I received PER on Oct 22 and waiting for MR / PCC request. I am hearing it takes more than 3 months and CIC gives only 2 months time. Do they extend the deadline?

Is it a better idea to apply for PCC from FBI now? I dont want to e
nd up in falling in the 3 month deadline again. Please advise...

Is there anybody from the FSW 2014/2013 who sent fbi pcc with main application and received MR asking to submit latest fbi pcc? My wife left US in 2011 and never went back and we issued fbi pcc in April- 2013 and i have submitted the same with main application. We are waiting for our MR. What are the chances that they will ask for the latest?

What type of fingerprinting did you do? Ink or Electronic
