Thank you johnson.i2000 for the confirmation. Did you give the FBI a mailing address in the US or an address outside the US? If it is outside the US it might take a while. I hope you get it soon, as you will give me some hope.

I have got my MR emails today and I submitted for PCC on 4th nov.. it was reached on 6th .. they gave deadline of 60 days.. will I get PCC by that time?

worst case i have to send special request for extension to VO ..

When is best time to call FBI after CC charge or before ? now I am too early to even call i guess..

Guys,
I made an analysis. I know quite a few persons who have applied for FBI PCC and is waiting to get the results.
When I analysed the record nos and compared I found that on an average they are getting 1200 requests per day.
I know two persons whose requests has been processed but not yet despatched by FBI. By comparing I found that they are
processing around 2500 requests per day. This might be a very crude analysis. But it still gives some insights on the timelines. Those who applied before Oct might still have their waiting time as 12 weeks. But those whose application reached on/after Oct might get it earlier than 12 weeks.

Thanks to those friends who shared their information with me.

I applied on nov 4th.. will I get it by dec? here the holiday season will start soon.. I have a doubt whether they can complete all request early.. :((

After 3 months, finally I received my FBI clearance in my US address on Nov 10.
Regards,

It is difficult, however please note that you may get it, because FBI will speed up. But do not take chances ask for extension with VO.

Regards,

dear jhonson , congratulations on your FBI clearance , hope you reach canada soon . could you please explain how you know FBI will speed up the process , did they mentioned that in thiere website?

thanks

They claim the current software is processing faster than the old, once they started using it now, the backlog should reduce (assumption due to fast processing- I cant say I know this, just a guess)

NGI is the new software update done on sept 7, 2014.

Congratulations johnson.i2000 ;D Can you please share if you did your fingerprints in India, and how many copies of the fingerprints you sent. I would just like to know how strict they are on the quality of the fingerprints, because I know that FSW_Applicant did his fingerprints in the US and his got rejected. Thanks again.

OMG .. actually last time they sent my pcc within 40 days .. hence i was hopeful but now reading some posts i guess im in danger ..

i am sure going to ask for extension , today I did my medical exam.

Hi O_O,

I have done finger printing in New york, still my first one was rejected and this was the same one, the same person did it, second time, they did not charge anything though. Both the attempts I used only one fringer print.

recently, I have done one as back up measure in SCRB chennai. I would say that that is the best finger print, chances of getting rejected are absolutely nil. Hence those who are in and around chennai should use this.
