FBI PCC

Guys,
I made an analysis. I know quite a few persons who have applied for FBI PCC and is waiting to get the results.
When I analysed the record nos and compared I found that on an average they are getting 1200 requests per day.
I know two persons whose requests has been processed but not yet despatched by FBI. By comparing I found that they are
processing around 2500 requests per day. This might be a very crude analysis. But it still gives some insights on the timelines. Those who applied before Oct might still have their waiting time as 12 weeks. But those whose application reached on/after Oct might get it earlier than 12 weeks.

Anybody here whose application reached FBI office between 11st Aug - 15th Aug, and have received their PCCs ? What is the latest date that got processed and reports received in hand?

Maryvincy -- Can you please let us know from which district did you do the Finger printing. In India they charge Rs4000/- for a single print. Can't understand why they charge so much. I did it for Rs 3000/- after much negotiation.

From Kottayam district in Kerala... There should be one in every district, its part of the Police department... Try google it
I guess the private agencies charge so much... Not many people know abt the Government agency doing the fingerprinting....

My application reached there on July 10. Unfortunately I forgot to sign my CC form, they sent it back and I sent signed form on Aug 15/14. Application was received on Aug 18. Still waiting. As pet my last call yesterday, they said it should be done within few days.

Thank you everyone for chiming in . Over the past two days I called the FBI twice. Both the people I spoke to refused to tell me which day they were currently processing. They both however insisted that they would keep the 12 week deadline. They also told me that they had opened applications received on Oct 1.

I would be really happy if they keep the 12 week deadline. I'm grateful to everyone for sharing information.

By the way, I asked CPC-O to give me an extension for the FBI. I sent a normal email, not a Case Specific Enquiry, and they replied in a week. They told me that they are aware of the problem with the FBI, and gave me an extension of 30 days. If the FBI keeps their 12 week promise, this should be more than enough for me.

I got my 2nd line updated on nov 4th.. I have just submitted for PCC. My question is when they will ask for PCC and Medical ? will I be in time limit?

Expect your MR in the next few weeks. I got mine after a week of second line update. You should have applied earlier for FBI.

Do I need to include any note which mentions that I have applied to get PCC and will be able to provide when requested ?

Or I can just send the package without any note..

Just got PM from Johnson. He talked to FBI. His application review is complete and will be mailed to him this weekend.

Yes you can send application without PCC. no need to put note. Just don't check the "PCC" box on checklist form.
