According to guidelines you don't need the FBI report and this is explycit exposed thru. They can request it ? Who knows? BUT, if they do so, they are aware that you would not had requested yet coz the guidelines does not require and they should expect a timewindow of at least 18 weeks. Therefore, I dont believe they would ask, however if I were walking on your shoes I would have requested just in case.Giftsmas said:Hi,
The travel form state that we should mention only countries we stayed in since the age 18 or in the last 10 years. I am 42 and I lived in USA until october 2002 which means that it was not stated on the travels history document. Do you think that I still need police clearance from the USA. Any opinions? I am worried that my fingerprints get rejected even after collection of payment from FBI as medicals and PCC will be requested soon from the local visa office.
Thanks

As far as I understand, only credit cards are accepted by FBI as mode of payment. The only payment form an applicant should provide contains only credit card data.GMRL said:Hello everyone,
I'm sorry if someone has asked this questions before but I haven't seen anyone address this:
The payment options listed on the form are money order, certified check, and credit card. Can I use a (US$) demand draft like the one I used for my FSW application?
Thank you all for your help with this.
Thank you for your response Giftsmas. The FBI website says: "Option 1: Pay by credit card using the Credit Card Payment Form. Don’t forget to include the expiration date of the credit card that you are using.Giftsmas said:As far as I understand, only credit cards are accepted by FBI as mode of payment. Option 2: Obtain a money order or certified check for $18 U.S. dollars made payable to the Treasury of the United States. Please be sure to sign where required." and the identity-history-summary-request-checklist-1 states: "Include a credit card payment form, certified check*, or money order for $18.00 per request.
Note: This amount must be exact. "
So I think there are three options. I'm wondering whether a demand draft will work.
Thanks johnson.i2000! I was hoping someone would tell me that.johnson.i2000 said:Demand draft and certified Check are same.
