I've also seen some people get the '2nd extension'. My documents arrived on the 20th of October at the FBI, so it gives me about 4 months to receive the PCC and then upload it. However it looks like the FBI is having trouble keeping up with all the PCC requests, so current processing times are now 3 - 4 months from delivery date.

did you wait till last date of your ITA to submit? i have same situation and same delivery date to FBI...I am very confused weather i should wait till last date or submit application just now.

Credit card charged today for me and my wife's application. I had sent the applications in a single envelope for both of us. Not sure when was the application delivered but I had sent it on 26th August.
Should I expect a reply from FBI stating whether it was processed successfully?

today they were processing August,29 so your docs might reached on that date.

just an update:- i had submitted a CSE to extend my PCC submission deadline. it was 27th Dec initially. my docs had reached FBI on 5th oct. they gave me an extension of 60days. i.e 28th feb 2018. i had asked for extension of 5-6 weeks. i am not expecting my PCC before mid jan 2018 with 14-16weeks current waiting.

Given that it is holiday season, I would add an additional 10 days to delivery.

Looking at the people that had their prints delivered in August, the average number of working days (based on us federal calendar) has been 68.76 days (~ 69 days). (sample size 5)

My package was delivered on 11/11/2017. Based on the same calculation (removing weekends and holidays), I should expect to hear on 2/23/2018 - which is 5 days before the end of my extension.

My package got to the FBI Sep 11.

14 weeks from that is Dec 18.

Delivery in the US should be b4 Dec 25.

Hence:

From and including: Monday, September 11, 2017
To and including: Friday, December 22, 2017
Excluding Weekends and public holidays
in United States – Nationwide. Change Country / Change State

Result: 72 days
103 calendar days – 31 days skipped:
Excluded 14 Saturdays
Excluded 14 Sundays
Excluded 3 holidays:

• Columbus Day (Monday, October 9, 2017)
• Veterans Day observed (Friday, November 10, 2017)
• Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 23, 2017)

well ya... yesterday they processed August, 28-29 and today 30-31....but the wait time is still 14 to 16 weeks on website..

As long as reality goes at 2 days per day, that itself will bring down processing times regardless of what the site says. Let's hope this pace continues.

This waiting really stressed me out. Still 80ish days until they open my envelope.

Gonna send them another application today or tomorrow, just in case the one I sent got rejected. Can't take chance waiting another 4 months on top of this.
