Well, you can go to the same place and make sure you have several sets to submit to FBI. 3 to 4 sets would be best.
Yes, and I can even tell them that my last time prints were not accepted so probably they will pay more attention this time and do a better job. Because last time, I recollect, the officer was so buzy talking to some other guy present there that he was doing a horrible job with my finger printing. But I didnt speak up.

I think it's impossible to get it in 4 weeks unless you work at FBI itself. Current timeline is around 6-8 weeks.

Guys my application reached them on Jan 17th. Is it worth calling them tomorrow to check? Will it be too early?
Is your CC charged? You need to wait for atleast a week after your CC is charged and then call them.

I have a question guys...

When I sent my fingerprints to FBI for PCC, I was told to go the following way.

1) Went to the forensic lab in my city, where they took money and gave me 2 sets of the fingerprinting cards/papers
2) Took this and went to local police station where they took my finger prints on those cards/papers.
3) Went back to the forensic lab where a finger print expert checked these cards and signed them(he took money for this too) and then I was given one copy to send to FBI and another one they kept for their records. I was told to do a color copy of the one I was given to send to FBI and keep for future reference.

Inspite of all this my fingerprints were rejected by FBI. So I am wondering....step 1 & 3 below are mandatory? Everyone does it the same way Or I can just get my fingerprints done on those cards and send them directly to FBI?

Thanks.

Hi Dinav,
I would say u to obtain few sets by urself too if those police are not doing good...( i.e. police & urs both) u can see some youtube videos about how to do fingerprints urself... I checked this group before mine r done n some people suggested that b'coz in those places there was no fingerprint facility for them...

All the best!

Thanks Ivory for this idea. And got happy too with it ;)...but then realised that what about the field on that form that says:-
Signature of the person taking the fingerprints. The fingerprinter (not the applicant) signs in this block
Employer and address block.

That's what I thought ~ 8 weeks

Mine was received on Jan 17th and everything else is completed from my side and waiting for this.

I am hoping to receive by March 18th if everything goes right

Hi Guys,

Can someone guide me on taking the fingerprints for FBI in Saudi Arabia? I took some fingerprints myself using porelon pad, but afraid of rejection. So want to get it done through professional service.

PS: local police is not helping here. Can someone share their steps if done from Saudi Arabia. Specially, if in Riyadh.

Thank You guys.

Why dont you search and look for some fingerprinting agency? You can google for that in your area.

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here so am apologizing in advance if I ask something that's been dealt with before. After a few searches and cursory reading I couldn't find anything similar to my queries so am posting now.

So the thing is - I sent my application and fingerprints (from India) around late Nov '16 and my CC was charged $36 on 10-JAN-17 (In the request form I'd mentioned that I need 02 reports). Also, I've mentioned it on the form for the reports to be delivered to a local (US) address.

My queries are:
1) Since I was charged for the 2 copies of the report ($36) would it be wrong to assume that the prints/application was O.K. or should I still expect a 'reject' mail from them? I mean my assumption is based on the understanding that FBI would(should?) not charge for sending 02 copies writing 'application rejected - fingerprints not legible'. I may be wrong though. Any one in or has been the same boat?
2) The mail has not been delivered to the US address, yet. It'll be a month in a-couple-days - should I wait for a few more days or is it time to ring them? [They have a four-business-weeks est. timeline if I rem correctly but that's passed today]
3) If I do call them how will I refer to my application? I mean - by Name? By D.O.B.? By CC number? I want to know how does the conversation play out?
4) Is their 12-14 week timeline from the day the open the package or charge the CC (10 Jan '17) or the day they 'receive' the package (late Nov '16 my case)?

P.S. You guys are doing a great job.

Best,
