FBI PCC

Hi All,

I had uploaded an LoE (on 05/15) requesting for a second extension to upload the FBI-PCC,as it had been mailed out by FBI,but not received. I haven't received any confirmation of the extension until now(05/27)

I had also submitted a rework request to FBI on 05/13,which was processed and mailed out on the same day and I
received the 'summary request' (FBI-PCC) today(05/27).

Please advice on how can I now proceed to provide CIC with the scanned copy of the FBI-PCC?
The 'Upload' option seems to have been disabled now,and it says 'Document provided',which was my LoE
with the supporting documentation.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the FBI's PCCs to be delivered in India? I have been led to believe it can take 30-45 days, is that right?

Nope. It takes anywhere from 10 to 20 days. Good luck.

Do you know what happens if the FBI can't match the signature on the address change form to the signature on file? I think the address change form I sent them had my signature come out wrong (it's too neat compared to my usual illegible scrawl haha)

I'm in first stage of EE application. I lived in USA for 4+ years. I'm planning to get police clearance letter from FBI early considering the delays they have. Does anyone have good experience with fingerprint service in Mumbai/India? Do you recommend any?

Also, what courier service would you suggest to use to send to FBI?

You can get your fingerprints done from the police station in Crawford Market. Here is the address:
Fingerprint Bureau

Opp. Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Marg Police Station
Crawford Market
Near Haj House, Mumbai - 400 001

Please call them and understand what documents they require. Typically, they will ask you to bring Passport, Address proof etc. It is better if you get there in the morning.

As of today, they are processing March 14 prints. I imagine they are opening March 15 and 16, but the only official word I got from them was what date they are processing at the moment.
