Thanks very much friend. The waiting continues I suppose. I'll give them a call at the end of October, that would have been 9 weeks, to see if my prints were any good.

I have been calling since Tuesday. Each time I was told they are opening July 27th but cannot find me in the database. Mine was supposed to be delivered 27th. This is driving me crazy. As the USPS tracking indicated it was delivered late August after I called and questioned as the shipping date is July 23. And I used 3-day shipping. I was told by the mail man that it was delivered July 27th and he just forgot to update it in the system. The FBI rep. said he can only confirm receiving my application if he can locate me in the system, which is after they open the package. If they keep this pace, I wonder if it is gonna be 4,5 months in the feature to get the PCC as there are too many unprocessed applications. So for those who are in the US and has not received invitation, get prepared early.

No. I checked my account twice and nothing showed up as pending. However, I just got off the phone with the CJIS dept. and was told it was under processing. The rep. was very impatient and cut me off before I could confirm with her whether I am already in the database or not.
Anything I asked, she just repeated that it is under processing...

Me too July 24 ,not charged till date . The rep said i need to wait for 1 more week on "Friday" .

If card is not charged then our details are not in their database. I got mail confirmation about this.

It was all going smooth till July 23rd , suddenly they got into hibernation ...

Which is your USPS delivery date(shown in site)?. pls do inform here , if your card gets charged.

Delivered date is 07/25, which is a Saturday. Finally saw pending charges of $18 this morning. Go check yours!

I am still waiting on the FBI report. Anyone knows how & where to upload the document? I do not see any section where I could add new document.

I spoke to the FBI customer care. She said they are working on July 24th mail. So hang in there people... I do hope it moves this week.

You will get an upload section when cic ask the document in my cic . Did you contact them today (20th) . Are they still on 24th . I thought they are now with 28th or 29t

Timeline:
Fingerprints received at FBI- July 23rd 2015
CC charged- Oct 9th 2015
FBI mailed documents- Oct 14th 2015
USPS mail received in USA - Oct 19th 2015

Now I can make the deadline from CIC which was Nov 16th 2015

Do they ever want original police certificate? It looks my friend in the US lost original document, he previously sent me scanned copy.

Call FBI and ask for a duplicate FBI Summary. If you are not landed , the original document could be asked by CIC during any time of processing . There was some rare cases where officer asked the original FBI report while landing.

I recommend to get one.

You can submit the proof that you had applied for FBI PCC , and ask for extension, i did the same way .


But to get the doc before the deadline is the issue . If your application for PCC gets rejected by FBI , you have to spend another 3 months for new one . So its up to you to decide whether to go ahead with out FBI report.
