Usually it is better to go to Police Station and they will help you taking the prints on the document required for FBI processing. That is what my sister didhappyca said:I called FBI yesterday evening and all 4 sets were unsuccessful. That was my third attempt. I did get my fingerprints taken again while I was in Singapore but FBI customer service suggested I contact SGVO and asked what is the alternative to pcc from FBI. I had raised a CSE and included state police clearance from MA and HI where I used to live. The only thing was missing was state police clearance from CA and they would require fingerprints for processing. No livescan services available in Malaysia and Singapore.
Good luck to everyone else who are waiting! Make sure to check that your fingerprints are clear when pressed onto the card and no smudging. However, if you have fine fingerprints like mine, go for livescan option or obtain state police clearance reports.
