Opening: 14th Apr
Processing: 4th Apr

Hope so that it doesnt go back to 2nd when someone else calls

My card was charged on 10-Jun. I haven't received any snail mail with the results. Neither have I received any email from them regarding any problems.

Is there any way I can check the status? Is there any URL or number I can call?

Call 304-625-5590 and check if your data is in the system and processed your prints/application.

Sample timelines when they process after CC charge:
Application recieved at FBI : 10th March
Credit card charged : 25th May
Processed :27th may
Posted :29th may

Application received - Mar-26th-2015
CC charged - Jun-8-2015
Application processed - June-11-2015
Application will be Mailed - June-12-2015

Based on above data it looks like you will know today if the prints are accepted.

FYI
I have got my PP back with COPR.
However, I did not get the FBI report yet. My first two application was rejected due to low quality fingerprint and the 3rd one is still with FBI. Hence, I applied for a state police certificate and send it to VO. Fortunately they accepted it. Those, who are rejected several times by FBI, may try with a state police certificate and explain the situation. VO may accept the state police ceritficate.

Hence, I applied for a state police certificate and send it to VO. Fortunately they accepted it. CC payment was Processed on 06/16/16
I just called and they said that it was successfully processed and mailed.
Now just waiting for it to arrive.

The first 2 attempts were sent back rejected due to unclear prints. They were both done at police stations but with regular ink. The third time we did the electronic prints and that seems to have worked. To save yourself time I recommend, if possible doing the electronic prints the first time around to avoid any problems.

We had our medical exams done this past Friday the 19th and I already paid the RPRF so this is the last thing pending that was requested in the MR email we received. I just need the PCC to arrive in the mail so I can send it to Ottawa.

1)Which mode of payment is best for tracking ? I see many people use CC , so that we know when they charge our CC . If we use money order , we are not able to track it ..

2)I need to get the report for me and my wife . So I need to send two separate applications right ? - for me and her
3)Still I can use same CC to charge both of our application right ?

4)So the 18$ they charge , includes the return shipment they do ? since they asked not to send any pre-stamped envelopes.

1. The first time I did it I sent a money order for myself and for my wife. Mine was processed and I got it back. My wife's was rejected due to image issues with the ink fingerprints. The second time I submitted hers it was also ink prints and by money order. This third time I decided to use the CC method so I could see when it was charged. I think this method is better so you can see and have an idea of when they are processing it. With the money order option you are completely in the dark and left wondering.

2. Yes, you need to send two separate applications. They can be sent in the same envelope though. I did this the first time and mine was processed and hers were rejected. Not because they were sent together but because of the low quality image on her prints. So if her prints had been fine they would have been able to process both sent in the same envelope. You do need two separate applications and if you are sending money orders, two separate money orders for $18 each.

3. If you decide to use a CC for payment you can use the same one for both applications. It will be charged twice for $18 each time for each separate application. No problem using the same card for both though.

4. Yes. You don't need to send return envelopes or pay extra. You pay the $18 fee and they send it back to you by regular mail.

Can we order another copy of FBI pcc?

I received my pcc in march 2015 and submitted it to NDVO on last month. Now today again I received PCC request from NDVO and ask to submit it within 30 days.

We can order but it will take 3+ months (if everything goes well at fbi on the processing time within 2+ months and accepting fingerprints). So its better you send them detail about the courier you sent and the copy of that pcc and request them to waive that request. They might have missed updating in your file.

Also if you are ok to spend little more money then proceed in applying soon to fbi and dont wait for their reply as we dont know what will be their reply - this is just for precaution and a backup plan.
