FBI Clearance form?

ok, yes I think we were thinking of different things for "application". I get it now.

As for if you should send in your FBI clearance application now and hope to get it by the time CIC asks you for it... this has always been a tricky question. Since the process of getting your letter can take so long, most people recommend doing it before CIC asks. In fact, most will just say to send it right to CIC when you get it, before they even ask for it. This can work and it is probably a good idea because even if it somehow doesn't work out, you can submit another application to the FBI when CIC asks for it and all it cost you was an extra $18.

Agreed, send a few sets of prints. Also, the police report submission time was extended to 6 months, from the previous 90 days.

Crazycatlady, when you receive your report, before you forward it to Ottawa, be sure to keep a scanned copy for yourself and I'd advise sending it with tracking. CIC is known to lose reports.

Nice to see you again Saria! I am about to go down to get my fingerprints done, so I should have them do extra prints and then send in the extra prints with my FBI clearance form today or keep the extra prints in case they lose them?
