FBI Certificate!!! URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!!!!

I'm in USA, and a temporary resident. I'm studying in USA for last 2 years. I need a FBI police clearance certificate for Canada Permanent Resident Application How can I get FBI Police clearance within 2 weeks time? Please Help me quickly....Thank you

I don't think it's possible to get one within 2 weeks. Time varies with the volume they receive, but it usually takes around 4 to 5 weeks.

Don't use the agency which processes quicker. CIC will not accept them.

Not to be a debbie downer but I just don't see that happening. When they say 8 weeks they mean it. Mine took more like 9 I think.

I would expect a 2 month time frame for the FBI. Mine took 5 weeks but its the US govt, they could take all the time they want to reply to you.

Took my husband about a month to get his.

If you're in a hurry to get it to send it in with your application, don't worry, you can always send it in later. They first have to approve your partner.

It depends on where you go Police Station or Agency) to get your clearence that will determine how much time it will take to get them back . I would do some research before you make a decision, but I have heard it can take up
to 30 days to complete this process.

The poster is asking about FBI clearance. You cannot use one of "faster" services/agencies for the FBI clearance - CIC does not accept them. Any police department or private service that does the actual fingerprinting, does them same day, then you send them to the FBI in the USA. No matter how you slice it....it will take 4 to 6 weeks average to get the results back from the FBI.

Go get printed and send it to be processed. Then write a letter to CIC, showing the proof that you sent it to the FBI, and stating that the current timelines for it is 12-16 weeks. Before you freak out thinking they will reject you, they know it takes a while, they just want to light a fire under you to get it done as soon as you can. As long as you keep them in the loop and tell them you will send it as soon as you get it (and you have proof that you sent it) then it's all good in the hood
