FBI Certificate- Letter of Explanation

Hello,
I received an ITA and currently in the process of submitting the documents. I cannot submit FBI Clearance within 90 days. Can anyone please give me an example or template of the letter they wrote to prove their FBI Police Certificate is in progress. Just a generic idea of what all should I include in the letter. Also what document proofs did you attach?

In the letter explain that you have applied. Attach any proof that you have applied; postal service receipts, payment receipts, etc.

Take a photograph of the actual application to FBI if you still have it and attach it to the information letter, as well as a photograph of the registered post I assume you signed up for which should have a date on it for when you sent it off. CIC knows that FBI is slow at processing police certificates and are in my opinion very likely to give you an except, as long as you describe in details the steps you have done to make it in time including any proofs you may have. You may also like to call the FBI to get information on where they are in the process. It can take the FBI ages to even open your application, as it gets placed in a "queue". Include any information that you receive from the FBI in your letter to CIC. Factual information is the key for the letter. Write a straightforward, apologetic letter, filled with facts. Nothing more, nothing less. Good luck
