My Spouse's deceased father (passed away in 2024) worked in the state government as a police officer in the late 80s to the 90s. His job since 1996 has not been in the Government. Is this asked anywhere in the PR application? Gov employment history of the parent? ChatGPT says yes, and Google AI says no. Please answer. If yes, we have a long process of collecting the dates and records. They were estranged since the late 90s.

Is this asked in IMM 5669 or anywhere in the PR application?

The best way is to open the 5669 form and read it.

From my understanding, Imm 5669 is only asking for the applicant's records with the gov. Only criminal record and such for family members in Question 6. I just would like to make sure, cos my spouse's mother is living alone and she has to go to the police/government offices to collect this data by herself if it is mandatory. We couldn't ask that of her if it is not needed.
