I applied for a visa application for me and my dad with me being the primary applicant. In our letter of explanation, I detailed how we plan to visit Canada as tourists and that we're both sharing our expenses. However, my dad recently had some financial problems and won't be able to go with me anymore. I am employed and have shown an adequate amount of my savings for our 2-week trip. So I believe my financial documents can stand on their own. It's our planned shared expenses I've written on the application that I'm worried about.
My question is: Is it alright to cancel his application but continue mine? Or will canceling his application also cancel mine? And yesterday, he got a medical exam request on his application even though we're only visiting for tourism and less than 6 months. Is that normal to get a medical exam request?
We're trying to reduce my dad's expenses that's why we're not planning on continuing his application anymore. Especially since a medical exam request came and that's going to cost him
I'm really in a pickle of what to do. I still would like to continue my visa application and visit Canada on my own. Any insight or advice would be of great help!! Thanks a bunch!
