pls. help, i applied under PNP Manitoba to accra in June 2010 how soon will i get medical and PPR?
i have submitted all documents and ecase shows in process and have sent POF.
when do i get my medicals and PPR
wat is the cost of landing?

Hi All,

There seems to be just the slightest confusion in what happens after the PER.

I received mine today and the letter states that my application will be forwarded to New Delhi for further processing.

What happens then? Any studied time frames on this?

ND VO will send you an acknowlegement letter to your mailing address by post once thay got your application package from CIC.
Nobody knows the exact timeframe right now.

I need help for documents preparation.

(1) In Schedule-1 Back Ground form

Column 10 - Education detail :


I want to know that after filling details of 10th (S.S.C ) in next line I Only need to fill time period of 12th (H.S.C ) Class or need to cover time period of 11th class also ?

Column 12- Membership Details :

I am registered Pharmacist under Rajasthan State Pharmacy Council .

Do i need to fill that detail here ? Is this applicable to me ?

As i am attaching Notarised Copy of my Registration Copy.

(2) IMM 5406 Additional Family Information :

What to write in name of Applicant when form filled by my Spouse ? I am the Prime Applicant . So Do i need to fill my Name both time ? I am confused ?

(3) What should i write title of my JOB in all forms "PHARMACIST OR RETAIL PHARMACIST? In my reference letter from Employer it is mentioned " Retail Pharmacist "

Hi Mayank: According to the CIC website that is the correct address and you have to print YOUR NOC number in the space you put in red. It seems like a very stressful part of the process getting all your documents in order. Review them one more time, make sure that you put N/A where you have not put applicable information. Make sure pages are signed and dated where they request it. Double check your fee payment is absolutely correct, including your BD or CC numbers. Make sure your Visa Office is correctly indicated. Everything on CIO and VO specific checklist is included. Good luck.

I have got all my documents Notarized. I have one question that there is only round notary seal & True copy seal with his signature. Is it Ok or will do trouble ...?

Also, I think, under the new procedure i.e. post 26th July, no one has received any further communication, post PER that is.

So ... we're all travelers through uncharted waters, what happens next is anybody's guess!

I need to confirm 3 things.

(1) Do i need to staple Bank Draft with fee application form ? or need to attach seperately to CIO checklist ?

(2) I have never travelled to any country. As per ND VO Checklist need to give travel history. do it applicable to me ? I have allready attached copy of my passport ( all pages ) ?


(3) As per CIO checklist : 2 Labels in orginal . I have taken print on A4 page with one address in english & other in Hindi. Is it ok... or i need to take print on adhisive paper ?

Please help me on it..

Application received December 2010 to CIO with attached Academic IELTS will be returned. No file will be created and you need to reapply if your occupation is still open for processing.

If the application was received prior December 2010 with attached Academic IELTS -- you will be given 120days to take the General Training.

Application received December 2010 onwards by CIO with attached Academic IELTS, then it will only be returned.

If application was received prior December 2010 also with attached Academic IELTS, then you will be given 120 days to take the General Training IELTS. This are facts so better took the GT IELTS if you are included in this batch.

If I have already done the academic version of the IELTS and I cannot afford to do the general version, I would certainly send in the academic version. This is especially so if I only need few points from the language section.

If I have not already done the IELTS exam, then I would take the general examination. This is for two reasons, 1) CIC asks for the general version and 2) the general version is easier.

If CIC in Sydney returns my app, that will set me back by about a month or two. For some people, the extension of their application by a month or two is worth the savings from not doing the general (if they had done the academic version already).

Thats my thought. Of course, we also don't know whose got returned because they did the academic version. The sample size we have is too small to say that all applications with academic version will be successful.

One more thing. I am not experienced in Canadian immigration application. I have only done my application and one application does not an experience make. So perhaps you are correct and hence, I wrote what I would do if I was the applicant who already has done an acadmic version of the IELTS.

Can anyone help me decide on my situation?

Education: 20 points (Bachelors degree. I am about to finish my Masters this year October)
Language Ability: 16 points
Work experience: 19 points (3 years and 6 :-\ months)
Age: 10 points
Arranged Employment: 0
Adaptability: 0 (No first degree relatives or spouse)

I am confused, can i submit my application now and ask for substitute positive evaluation since ill be graduating this October and it can add an extra 5 points to my current score OR I wait til October before I submit my application. If I wait til October Im afraid that the point system would be different already or my occupation wont be included on their in demand list.

Any suggestions / expert advice? :-\

Currently your socre is 65 & as per my understanding you have 3 options:
A. you must wait till OCT,2011. CIC will calculate your total points & if they find your score is below 67, they will reject you.
B. You wait 6 more months (till july/august 2011) and gain full 4 years work experience which will give you 21 points
C. you get married with someone who has either a Bachelor degree or a diploma & claim 3-4 points

Please note that, applying without reaching 67 points means complete rejection.
