Need your help on how to fill section 10 of imm0008_1e ( Back ground declaration form ) ?

GIve the number of years of school completed ?

elementary / primary school =

Secondary / High school =

university / College =

Trade School / other post secondary school =




My educational details

10+2 = Full time after that

2 year Diploma in Pharmacy = Fulltime

3 year Bachelor in Computer Application = distance mode from IGNOU , New Delhi

2 year Master in Business Administration = Distance mode from ICFAI University .Dehradun.

Please help me whether i i need to write my 2 year of diploma in pharmacy ( from University of Rajasthan , Jaipur )

in last colum (Trade School / other post secondary school) or Need to fill in university / College Field ?

• It shows your disrespect towards rules of laws and makes you suspicious in the eyes of the Canada immigration officials regarding the disrespect you might show towards Canadian laws after your immigration to Canada.

• Immigration fraud is considered to be a big threat to the security and integrity of the immigration system of Canada and anyone caught to be misrepresenting the facts is likely to be denied any chance to immigrate to Canada.

• The introduction of ‘The Cracking Down on Crooked Consultants Act’ on June 8, 2010 is another proof of the fact that anyone found to be involved in fraud either directly or under the influence of any crooked immigration consultants to gain Canada citizenship or Canada visa will not be spared by Canada immigration department.

• The government of Canada has introduced several measures to ensure that immigration consultation services in Canada are provided only by notaries, lawyers or registered members of CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants).

• Anyone giving false information about persecution for making refugee claims is likely to face severe punishment as per the Canada immigration laws.

Remember, honesty is, undoubtedly, the best policy if you want to successfully immigrate to Canada and even a small lie might make you pay a heavy price for your mistake.

i am planning to apply under the category 1122 but after reading this thread i am a bit confused now , plz anybody guide me in

1. i am giving IELTs on 20th Nov and will post my application till 5th Dec 2010 under category 1122 , in present scenario where 740 / 1000 applicant already selected , i should proceed my application process or not ??

waiting for the response of honorable members and seniors ..

He is saying according to recent report from CIC. But brigadier that is 739, you have incresed 1 from your side. Check Link Below:-

Prabhjotgill - I guess no one can tell anyone if they should apply quickly or not.
Lets see, there were 739 applicants just for the first 3.5 months, July, August, September and half of Oct.
You will to send it in 2.5 more months.
This is what I would do. If I wanted to go to Canada really badly at any cost, then I would apply and hope for the best. If cost is prohibitive, then probably will wait till next year. Of course, there is always a chance if I wait till next year, either that other people who would have applied after me get in or that they take the NOC away.

I am in urgent need of help. My query is regarding PCC. I have stayed in India in different states after attaining age of 18yrs for my education and job requirement. Do I need to get a PCC from each city I have stayed or from the city wherein my permanent residence is.

Need for upgradation in Canada immigration services

Canada, 29th October: A recent audit by Canadian Auditor-General into Citizenship and Immigration Canada has revealed several inefficiencies in the system.

Findings of the audit by Sheila Fraser state numerous inadequacies in the Canada immigration department Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIAC) concerning processing of Canada immigration applications.

The immigration processing system highlighted flaws in standards of customer service, tracking of complaints and feedback and the computer system. Moreover, computer systems being used by CIAC were found to be as outdated as 30 years.

And this might be proving obstacles for several Canadians wanting to travel or vote, the report findings stress.

The performance of customer services of CIAC, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada and Canada Revenue Agency were examined by the auditor general. Although, Canada Revenue Agency and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada were found to be having good customer services standards, however, the standards of Canada immigration department were either quite less or relatively new.

The audit report also revealed that the processing times for Canada citizenship applications was quite long and applicants had no option but to face higher wait times. The average waiting time revealed to those contacting the department by phone was 10 months while those contacting the department through mail were told of waiting period of five to seven months.

New immigrants in Canada are not allowed to vote and also face problems in getting their Canadian passports if they do not possess Canada citizenship certificates.

Apart from the above stated discrepancies highlighted by the report of the auditor-general Fraser, Canada immigration department was also found to be having very less measures for tracking of complaints and feedback.

The immigration department of the country has admitted to the findings of report by Fraser and also has chalked out a plan for bringing the required improvisations in the working of the department.


The report also has highlighted some positive sides of the department with special mention of the response of Canada immigration department to the earthquake in Haiti in January this year.

It praises department’s on-time delivery of information, better public communication and several other measures by the department following the Haitian earthquake.
