Dear All,

I am new to this forum and would like your help. I have worked for the same company for the last 4 years at 2 different positions and have both my work experience letters as current dated. I have worked in the 1st position from June 2006 until June 2007 and from June 2007 till date in the 2nd position but my company had made me both the experience letters as current dated for both the positions, would this be an issue as I am submitting my documents this week? Would appreciate if seniors could give some feedback. Thank you.

thats not a prob, if both the letters have FULL job discriptions and the dates u worked from - then its fine.

the police CC is not valid now. and you should always apply the PCC before 60 days of submitting the full documents to ur VO. wait for the letter from CIC asking to submit full documents b4 120 days.Mean time you can appear and keep ready IELTS and other documents etc except PCC

Hi All,
My name is sony pappachan, I am an indian national living in ireland for the last five years, I submitted my application for Canada PR through skilled worker stream on 7th May 2010, through my agent in canada. Please help me with regard to my querry as follows.
Since i submitted my application in may 2010, I obtained my police clearance certificates from India through indian embassy dated 1st June 2010, and Abudhabi dated 20th June 2010, I never travelled to these countries after this. I havent applied for my police clearance certificate from my current country of residence (Rep of ireland) yet. Abudhabi PC will be valid for three months only which will be expired on 20th september 2010. Do i need to reapply for these certificates again or is it OK for canadian immigration process. I am still waiting for my initial file number..

Don't worry buddy , the work experiance is counted if u provide the proper Experiance certfi from the companies with fullll Job discriptions.

plz i want to discuss very important issue ..actually i did MBA marketing from allama iqbal open university at its regional campus in faisalabad in 2003 but after that i stated my job and now in march 2010, i appeared in viva voce for MBA to get degree and i passed that and they issued me transcript (in 2003 when i did MBA then i had only marks sheets for each semester)and now they also gave me degree....but problem is that, on transcript it is written:
resuts declared on march 2010
however passing semester of each subject is also written like
spring 2002
autumn 2002
spring 2001 etc........
now i am confused that canada needs our job experience after our studies completed. i have also passed all subjects in 2003 but only viva was not given ..now i did that and got transcript......problem is this, that my job is under noc code 1122, and my job is related to management and business for that MBA degree is required ..... .plz help me that will they consider my studies was complted before job experience..or that will say that due to the gap between passing all exam and viva ,,my experience will not be counted.
plz help me as there is no one who can answer me even not my university .

Hi maaties.....
I received my medical+RPRF+PP request alongwith FBI clearance certificate & US state PCC.
according to my work in US, I worked for a cruise Ship and was on C1/D visa. I never stayed on land and I was not authorised to stay on land more than 29 days. so, do I need to get those certificate when I dont meet the criteria of stay in US for more than 6 months and I dont have any SSN. kindly suggest me on urgent basis as i hv been given 45 days to submit everything and almost 15 days have passed. I need an appropriate and reliable reply..kindly help.

Those immigration lawyers have no more experience than we do! This process is new and not much data is available as to how it works so what they tell you is their guess. If a wild guess is to be made, I would prefer to make it myself!

Hi There,
I am new to this forum. Put couple of posts here.
I m in the process of gathering my documents and planning to put my application in a week or two.


1.Which courier is fast and prominent...
I heard of many couriers delivering documents at some other places in CANADA and then re-routing it to NS, Sydney thus more time-consuming..
Also how much is the charge rate for courier to NS, Sydney?

2.Also how did you get so many documents notarized? and how many days does it take to do so many pages notarized?
Did you pay per copy notarized? or in lumpsum?

3.How does a notarized copy seem??? Is it same at True Copy or with a red seal of Notary?

4.Regarding my spouse' transcripts, she has studied in an affiliated college of GUjarat University. NOw when she went to university for transcripts, they firstly denied about it saying that she has not studied direclty in any of the faculty of gujarat university in ahmedabad, Then one officer agreed to do it and he just handed over to her the computerised typed summary mentioning "Transcripts" where she need to go to her college and get the college seal and sign from authority.

But the transcript was having heading "Application for Admission in Education Institution in UK, USA, Canada.
Will this be accepted as transcripts?
5. WHat mode you selected for Fees Payment--> DD, Bankers Cheque or Credit Card?
6. Have anyone here have hired a consultant?
