Family Student Visa [SDS]

Sallam Everyone, need a little help, i am applying for Fall 22 intake in Northeastern University. I am planning to apply for family student visa as i have two small kids. Can anyone please guide me all the documents and forms required for family (Spouse and kids). I have read somewhere that we have to apply for Kids student visa as well, is that true ?

Whatever you do, do not apply for everyone at once. Apply for yourself first, once you have the student visa to study, then apply for your family after.

I made this mistake by applying for my wife, son and I all at the same time. We got rejected and had to start the whole process over again.

SDS is massively backlogged so make sure to apply for yourself first. If you are applying from India within India you might be able to get in within 1 month which seems to me what is currently happening.

In terms of documents and what to do, it is extremely complicated, I hired a professional to help with the first application which got rejected because they never followed what I mentioned above and now had to hire a second professional to make sure my documentation was setup right.

I have a very complicated situation though because I am in an SDS country with PR but not a citizen of that country.

Currently waiting for my application to hopefully be approved now. Been at this since last year September 2021. Its a long process so rather make sure to jump through the hoops the IRCC want you to jump through to make sure to get it the first time.
