Hi All;

CHC has called me for an interview on 26th regarding my study permit.
Since my grand mother, my maternal uncles and aunts live in Canada I was wondering if this could be a problem.
Specially when one of my aunt lives in the same city where my university is.
Now the question is simple, Is having family in Canada a negative/positive point and why?
What could be a good answer if the visa officer says that I intend to stay with my family rather than to study.

Regards

Neither, it can be a factor if all your relatives, mother/father siblings are in Canada.

They require us to let them know if any relative's currently living in Canada as far as I can recall, and so I've only entered the names of my relatives who are currently living in Canada, and not those who are Canadian citizens but not living there currently. Do you think I should have mentioned their names as well?
