FAKE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

Has anyone ever filled an out-land sponsorship application and CIC says the marriage certificate is fake.

if so, any advice

Where was the marriage certificate from? If it was originally in a non-English/French language, did you get it translated and notarized? Is it possible CIC has deemed it "not valid" and not "fake"?

Read the letter carefully. It might not be a fake, maybe it was photocopied but not certified or translated.
