1. It appears that your police record shows that you have charges/convictions. So CIC wants to see what happened to the charges, so you would have to contact the court where you were charged or convicted and get the disposition.

Depending on the state where the charge/conviction occurred, you may be able to obtain it electronically or you may have to apply in person.

Have you checked the website of the PGJ in the state where the infraction occurred? I think it may be possible that one of your relatives, with a "carta poder" and all requirements, be able apply for that information on your behalf.

H,

I was wondering if I can seek help from anyone in my case. Last time I mentioned it was fighting against time to get the police documents in. Well that matter is sorted out, but now there is another issue.I used to live in an area that was populated with Illegal immigrants in Mexico. I was taken in custody because they thought I was living their illegally. I was released the same day when they discovered that my documentation was legitimate. Unfortunately, that has ended up on the police certificate and CIC is seeking more details which mentioned in to my PCC. I think.

The have asked me to submit the following

Court record / Police report: Provide an original police report or court records pertaining to the charge/conviction(s) listed on your Mexican police certificate.

Court judgment: Court judgment relating to the criminal charge/conviction(s) listed on your Mexican police certificate.

Also, please provide a detailed personal summary of any charge(s)/conviction(s) you may have had while in Mexico.

I was wondering if any one know any good lawyers that can help me or can guide me what my next step should be.

Thank you

For a start are you from Mexico? If yes then do you have family or friends that live there who can follow this up for you? If not then maybe you should contact the Mexican diplomatic post in your country of residence for directions on how to resolve this. Alternatively the Mexican equivalent of the Ministry of Justice should have a listing of the courts and their contacts (which you have anyway if you turned up for trial) they should be able to tell you what steps you need to take. Sorry you need to do some leg work!

As PMM, hagbard85 and Msafiri have all said, you will need to contact the courts in Mexico. There isn't really anything else that anyone can advise you to do.

If you were not charged, how does the situation is listed in your police certificate? Is it a charge, arrest, conviction?

Anyway, you should contact the PGJ in the state where the incident occurred and ask them about your situation. If it shows in both the federal and state certificates, you need to contact the PGJ at the Distrito Federal as well. No further help can be obtained here.

You've been given suggestions but it seems you aren't interested in doing some work to help yourself? Anyway, in your shoes, this is what I would do:
1. use google to search for contacts in the city where crime occurred - CIC needs documentation of what happened and end result(release records)
2. contact Mexican embassy in Canada for advice
3. contact relatives in Mexico to try obtaining information on your behalf - you would need to find out what is needed and forward documentation to them
4. if all else fails and you need to request documentation in person, then you would need to travel to Mexico. I would explore all avenues possible to get the information for CIC and travel to Mexico if no other options are left.

Hope this helps.
