Extension of visitor visa for parents

Hi,
I was going through the online application form for extending my parents' visitor visa and got stuck in one of the questions - When does your status in Canada expire?
My parents didn't receive any stamp in their passports when they landed in Canada. Should I give the date 6 months from their landing date, even though their passport doesn't have any stamp? Or should I give the date given on their visa, which is 10 years from now? Please advise.

6 months. No one get the duration of the TRV.

side note: A TRV isn't a visa. It's a permit to apply for entry to Canada. The stamp(or lack thereof) is the visa.
