Hello everyone,

I need your guidance.

Situation - My mother in law got her super visa in June 2017 and the expiry date of her visa was Feb 07 2025.
First visit - She came to live with us in year Sept 2017 and stayed here till Sept 2018.
Second and current visit - She came to Canada second time in Jan 2023. At that time visa officers told that she can stay 5 years straight here with us.

Issue - Five years were granted to her BUT Verbally. He did not write anything on the passport or nothing was given to us in writing. We need the stay confirmation that was given to us by the officer verbally in writing as we need to apply for her Police clearance certificates for her PR application.

Please advise how we can get that? I tried to reach to CIC via call but no luck at all.

Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

if a date is not written in her passport she gets a default visit of up to 5 years. The one requirement is that she purchase supervisa insurance every year as a condition of her ability to keep visiting Canada.
