Well I know what I'll be doing in a few years if PR falls through. At least I'll be able to retire in Canada!

Dude, I'm not planning on having a kid there just in the hopes of in 18 years I can get PR. I am just shocked that having a kid in Canada automatically gets them citizenship, regardless of where their parents are from.

In honesty though I may go over there and have my child one day on holiday, at least my kid will get an easier immigration ride in the future.

Same in the US - if you are born in the US then you are automatically a US citizen.

Also the category for sponsoring parents to Canada is limited to 10000 applications a year and is vastly over subscribed.

Hi Everyone,

I got invitation today and while I was filling the application forms , I come across couple of things that I need advise on:

1: I have a baby who is born after I applied for express entry, but she is Canadian by birth. We still don't have passport for her, as her birth certificate is still in process. What should i upload in the Proof of travel document for her in the application, can i attach receipts for birth certificate and her healthcard and write a letter of explanation that we don't have these documents available for now? I don't want to wait one month for her documents to come, All of my other documents are already to go.

2: I have a permanent full time job in Canada with one year experience, and i come under CEC category in express entry. But my document check list is asking me for proof of finical support. Do i still need to show funds , even if i have a full time job in Canada? Or can i just attach my pay stubs in that section, as i donot have much to show in my account.
I would really appreciate if someone answer these plz!
