My CRS score is 430 and i am expecting to receive ITA in next draw. I have question regarding submission of documents. My reference letters (Job reference) and proof of funds are not ready yet and i want to know how much time do we get after receiving ITA to submit all these documents.

Also i have doubt regarding proof of funds. I am posing my wife as Primary applicant but most of funds we have is in our Joint account (Which includes my name and my wife's name). Would that work as proof of funds.?

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.

You will have 90 days after you receive an ITA. For proof of funds, I don't think it should be a problem. I am the primary applicant and I and my husband have a joint account in nationalized bank. We are showing funds from that account.

Is this possible to change the NOC code after the Express Entry Submission????
I am not changing the company and title only want to change the NOC code so is there any issue for changing the NOC?

Hello People,

One query regarding proof of funds -

CIC requirements say that "if you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile".
My concern is I have funds in two different entities - One my bank and another my provision funds account. The bank will issue the details related to my bank account and PF department will issue me a statement related to my PF funds. So, how do I show the results together? Shall I make consolidated sheet myself and attach both bank and PF letters?
Someone has a format for the POFs??

I just had by documents sent for an Eval to BCIT. I have got a 8.5 in my IELTS and waiting for my wife to get her results. Moving on, I am kind of stressed reading that most masters are not at par with the Canadian education system. I have done 3 years of undergrad + 1 year of MSc from Spain.

1. What are the chances of my eval being at par with the Canadian masters?

2. Also, my eval sent to BCIT is only for the masters, will I need to send them my undergrad transcripts as well?

3. Can someone share the format of the Work Reference Letter needed?

But after submitting my profile I immediately receive a message stating "Profile Ineligible" and no score is displayed. I waited for 24 hours received a new message saying that profile updated but still, no score is displayed and application status remains ineligible.

I am 29 years old with Bachelors in Engineering and nearly 7 years of experience in NOC 1112. My ILETS score is Reading 7, Writing 7.5, Speaking 7, Listening 8.5

There is no way that I am ineligible for express entry, I am wondering why this is happening maybe I am missing something. Could anyone please help with this?

Also, when entering the details of education I am not putting 12 years of secondary and higher secondary education, I am only putting Bachelors of engineering is this the probable reason?

Hello Everybody!

I really need you help on this. I ordered an ECA from WES and got my report. However, I read on another forum that IRCC cannot access my application in the normal package. I ordered A duplicate ECA Package which contains a report via edelivery to IRCC. I received an email confirmation today from WES and it says "This is to confirm that World Education Services (WES) has processed your order and shipped your evaluation report to your recipient(s). 1. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC)".

Can you guys please confirm me that I did things correctly? I am actually waiting for the next extraction...

Do you get at least 67 points out of 100 in the FSW points grid?

If you do, then you might be doing something wrong.

Try logging into your myCIC account and create an Express Entry profile directly from there without using the CometoCanada tool.

Hi,

The best way to increase your score is to improve your language scores. If you can improve to L8 W7 R7 S7 you will definitely increase your chances. More work experience will also do you good.
