HI,
I am under Contract LMO valid until 2016/09/28, my application for PR has been sent and is being precessed sent it out about 4 months ago i am hoping to have an answer soon.
About a month ago i twisted my ancle real bad and was away on sick leave had doctors notes for it. When i produces a doctors note to my employer he informed me that there might be no work for me when i return from sick leave. after a 2 week sick leave i contacted my emplyer asking to be put back on the schedule he informed me to wait. which i did. Now today he informed me that i should look for new work..Also the oryginal business owner who was helping me with the visa application is no longer part of the company.
I also have a common in law that i have been living with for over a year.
So my question is this
can this employer terminate my visa even though he was not part of the application process?
If you got 600 points based on that LMO and if that is cancelled, then yes, that might be a problem. If you did not get those 600 points for the LMO, you are good to go - your employer cannot interfere with your application.
Can i apply for an open work permit?
You are eligible to apply for a BOWP. Check this --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/permit/extend/permanent.asp .
Check this too ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=177&top=17
Any way possible to change visa conditions?
What do you mean?
Or should i just wait for my pr?
You can apply for a BOWP/Open work permit and then wait for a PR. You have legal status in Canada until a decision is made on your work permit application.
Can my common in law help me apply? and if so do i need to start the process again?
Did you or did you not enter her details when you applied for PR? If not, then she must apply for PR via spousal sponsorship.
