ECA update on Ontario Immigration

Hi everyone.
There is an update on Ontario Immigration wesite regarding allowing OINP to access our eca reports online. For that, they have asked to request for duplicate copy at the respective agencies (WES, in my case!).
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html

I have already sent my documents to OINP (on 19th November,2015).
Do i still have to apply for a duplicate ECA Report to be directly sent to OINP?

I have not received ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT Letter from their end and am really worried whether its ok it is delayed!!!!

I have not received ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT Letter from their end and am really worried whether its ok it is delayed!!!! - Yes, I am a November 12th applicant, still waiting for the AOR. As per the recent trend OINP AOR is sent anywhere between 75-100 days and sometimes even more (leaving the exceptions aside).

You cant choose, the system will do it for you automatically. Usually they prefer to send ITA for FSW, where your score has to be at least 67/100. For details and eligibility read CIC website.
Thanks Johnny123 but I meant the form that I am filling out for OINP nomination. I have to pick between FSWP or CEC (in my case I qualify for CEC and FSWP) so I was wondering if one is better than other. I am wondering if someone was in similar situation and how they picked a program for assessment.

CEC is slightly easier in the sense you don't have to show the proof of funds meeting the LICO, just that you have a steady source of income from your job in Canada.
Besides, we're seeing in the OINP threads that OINP tends to process CEC applicants quicker than FSW ones.

Hi Raj and Asivad,

I have one query for balance certificate.

Bank manager is not at all ready to give balance certificate and statements on bank letter head and straightaway denied that . They already gave me on A4 paper plain paper these documents..

I have tried every possible ways to get from bank manager on letter head but no luck. I have also asked him to sign the declaration that can you please sign the letter saying that bank cant provide as they dont have authority. But he denied and was very adamant ??? ???

Please suggest what to do ??

johnny123 - Incorrect. The OP is talking about the Ontario application form and not the post ITA e-APR. There is an option to choose what category you would like to be assessed under in the OINP application form.

- In the OINP application form, there is a field where you can choose the criteria you need to be assessed under. If your EE profile says you are eligible under both CEC and FSW, then you can choose CEC (quicker processing).

Good luck and all the very best!

Get the statements stamped by the bank. Get the letter on A4 paper and get it notarized. Send a mail to the regional manager about the same and ask for a clarification. If your bank is not giving a letter despite your best efforts, there is nothing that you can do! So, submit the aforementioned documents.

Thanks raj,

Notarized means ?? I have already got A4 papers stamped with bank manager seal and bank round seal. Is that sufficient?

I am worrying of rejection from CIC ??? ???

There are people who are authorized to notarize documents. A quick google search will show you the people who are authorized to do this in your area. Tell them that you need to get the letter notarized. Notary = An authorized person saying "Yes, the documents are genuine". If the letter is on the letterhead, then notarization is not required. I am suggesting that you get this notarized just to be on the safer side.

After getting it notarized, my application won't be rejected ?

I'm not a IO. :) I can only suggest things to get your application ready. The decision is with the IO who would be processing your application!

Yes you can show FD on joint name as proof of funds as long as you have a self declaration from the joint FD holder stating that they do not have any issues/objection in you utilizing the entire amount for your immigration purposes.

For evidence you can submit FD receipts issued by the bank which shows both primary and joint holder of the FD.

Declaration is to be done on normal letter signed by joint FD holder or notary is required?
Also just wanted to confirm if any letter from bank is required?
Thanks Stanlee!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am applying for OINP nomination and I have the following doubt regarding submission of documents relating to education:

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma Certificate from Humber College and a Bachelor's Degree from India (ECA report for Bachelors- WES). In the documentation checklist, it says they need sealed transcripts for the Canadian degree, now since I have a diploma, am I supposed to send sealed transcripts. Please advice. Thank you!
