It was indeed less than 10 years ago. But do I need to submit the PCC now it I can submit it later? It probably takes 2 to 3 weeks to get a PCC from that country. I already got one for my pnp paper application in late 2015. But I don't know if that is still valid.
Yes, you will need that PCC, else you application will be rejected. Apply immediately.

What do you mean by pnp paper application? Is it provincial nomination? If it's nomination, it's valid for an year only.

I got my AINP (Alberta PNP - which cannot be used for Express Entry) in late 2015. At that time I had to submit a paper application to CIC for PR under the PNP stream. At that time I obtained a PCC from that third country and attached it to my federal application to CIC. It has been close to 15 months after submission of application and not much progress has been made. I got an ITA in late December but have not accepted it. I am thinking of submitting an application under the CEC stream of Express Entry since I already got an ITA.

Can I still use the PCC that was issued in late 2015? or I have to apply for a new one?

Yes you can, if you have never visited that country after that PCC was issued. In fact it's for a lifetime if you plan never return to that country again.

Hi all,

Quick question for those who have already submitted their application. I have my ITA and have filled out all the forms and uploaded all my documents. At the moment next to the uploaded documents it states "Uploaded - not submitted to IRCC". I can then press the NEXT button and sign my electronic signature/declaration. It then comes up with another screen, where it still stays "Uploaded - not submitted to IRCC" next to all my documents and has the button TRANSMIT AND PAY at the bottom. If I then select transmit and pay, will my documents then be submitted to IRCC. Might seem like a silly question, but I just want to make sure that there is not an extra step somewhere that I am missing with regards to submitting the documents before I submit payment and the application is locked

Thanks!

Hello,

I am looking for some advice regarding when to apply for my express entry PR. I came to Canada in August 2013 to study MBA at University of Toronto. I graduated in June 2015 and received my PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit) for 3 years that is valid until September 2018. I have now successfully completed 1 year of Full Time work in Canada (Toronto). I have also written the CELPIP test and have achieved decent scores (9,9,10,11). While I am already eligible to apply for my PR through the express entry stream, I am holding off since I am planning to get married on May 2017. I was initially under the impression that it is better I wait until my marriage and then apply together with my spouse. But now I heard from one of my friends that I do not need to wait, and I can start applying now. Since my marriage is in 3 months time, my friend told me I can add my spouse to the existing PR application (which is expected to be still in process) after I submit my proof of marriage. Has someone else in this forum experienced a similar process i.e. adding spouse to the existing application (rather than sponsoring her after your PR is processed)?

Regards
Raghav.

By the time you get married in next 3 months it will be time to submit you application as now a days we have 90 day to submit the application since getting the ITA and collecting all the documents.

So i guess you can create your EE profile now and add your spouse in your eAPR application provided you have all the documents for both (ECA, IELTS, Canadian work experience, PCC etc. if required) including the marriage certificate by then.

Hi,

I have been through this list but there is no option for United Kingdom.
Have you tried looking for England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland?

Hello Guys,

What does apprenticeship mean exactly by CIC ? Actually my wife has a Canadian work experience as an intern but this job is paid and also she got this job after her graduation as a degree was required to get this job. We are concerned that this position will not be counted towards getting point. Could somebody advise us about that? Thanks.

As long as the job is paid and full time, it will fetch you points.

Hello.

My wife has got the master's degree from Canada. Does getting an ECA for the foreign bachelor degree lead to more CRS scores for her? We do not desire to go through the hassle of time and money to get ECA for something not needed. Any experience regarding that? Thanks.
