Any advise?

Can I declare that am married however that my husband won't be coming with me to Canada so I can get higher points and get an ITA hopefully then invite him later and how easy is it to include him in the PR process later? And what are the conditions and timeline to include him once I get an ITA?

Am trying to take advantage of possibly higher points?

Yes, and you can sponsor him later on.

Do your research on sponsorship.

Hi Experts,

These questions might have been asked before or might be a dumb thing to ask but one has to be sure about each and everything.

Can you please answer these for me --

1) Received an ITA on 8th Feb. My spouse( Primary applicant) is going for re issuance of passport next week. Does she need to provide a LOE for the same? Or can I just simply add both the passports(old and new) in ID- Documents Summary ?

2) I am the secondary applicant and while filling EE form assigned myself as the representative(Designated Individual). I am still confused about this. Can I being a secondary applicant be the representative. Now that I filled this info, do I need to submit IMM5475 form? Or can I go ahead and change it in e-APR.

I am not getting my 30 points for the bachelors degree that I did here in Canada. I am currently at 399 and should be at 429 with the 30 points.

I withdrew my profile and submitted it again but still same result.

please see if I answered the 3 questions correctly.

Was this degree, diploma or certificate:
from a public post-secondary school, such as a college, trade/technical school, university or CEGEP (in Quebec)
from a private post-secondary school that operates under the same rules as public schools
a diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) or an attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP) earned through a qualifying study program of at least 900 hours from a private school in Quebec, or
a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree from a Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law. (The student must have been enrolled in a study program that led to a degree as set out by the province.)

I PUT NO

Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses?

I PUT NO

Did SA**** study in Canada based on an award that required them to go back to their home country to apply their knowledge and skills? This includes some awards from Global Affairs Canada. Help

I PUT NO

Your help in this matter will help because in March I will have 2 years of work experience which will put me at 454 with the 30 points.

I looked at other threads and followed instructions, but nothing seems to work.

Hi,

I got WES credentials assessed as 'having two or more degrees' for my ACCA and B.Sc (Hons) from Oxford Brookes. I got my ITA yesterday and wanted to check two things here:

-Since my education was done back home but awarding institution is based in UK, I wrote UK in my education. Now I realize while completing the personal profile that this will show as UK and I can't be based in two different countries at the same time. What do I do and how should I rectify this? Any changes to this will impact my score?

- My WES report shows UK as country of education since both ACCA and Oxford Brookes are based there and sent the transcripts directly. Do I then write country as Pakistan or UK for my education? Also do I then write an LOE explaining that this was a distance program?

I want to present all the info in a transparent way so that when my e-APR is reviewed, it doesn't get rejected. Please advise. Thanks!!

Hi, I have worked at multiple designations in an organization for past 9 years - In the form post ITA can I just mention in one line my current designation or I need to mention every position separately?

Hey Everyone,

I am going to create my Express Entry profile now.
I have my required documents.

But I have one doubt.
I have a Bachelor's Degree of 4 years which has been evaluated by WES.
I have certificate programmes from two Universities as well which doesn't seem to be evaluated by WES.
What should I mention? - Two or more degrees or certificates or Only one Degree which is evaluated by WES.

An early reply would be appreciated.

Regards,
Resu

>> I am a bit confused by this statement of yours. WES did not evaluate it even after you having sent them OR you did not send these to WES at all?

In either of the cases you should only claim for education that has been evaluated by WES.

Only the one evaluated by WES would be considered for claiming points.

I didn't have it then. So didn't Send it to WES.
Now I have Certificate Programme in Project Management by University of Petroleum
And Continuing Diploma in French From Amity University.

here is my query:

Can I send these certificates post completion again to WES along with my Bachelor Degrees? or
I Send only these certificates as my bachelors is already evaluated or
I don't send these certificates at all and continue ECA with my bachelors only

Regards

If you have been in the US for an accumulated period of more than 6 months, then yes you will need a PCC from US FBI.
If you have stayed in India post attaining 18yrs of age for an accumulated period of more than 6 months, then yes you will need a PCC from India too, but as an NRI you can apply for that from the Indian embassy in the US.

Important info for those in India who want to use PF for PoF

There is a very easy way to get your PF statement from the PF office delivered to your home at the click of a button!
All you need to do is file an RTI and it costs you just 10 bucks!!! I filed an RTI requesting for my PF statement and just received it today. But it takes a good 30 days to get the reply. The site is https://rtionline.gov.in/ . Please spread this news to your friends.

Here's the reply from the PF office:

Please refer to your application under the RTI Act 2005, dated 09-01-2017 which was received in this office on 19-01-2017. The point wise information is based on the information as provided by the holder of the information is enclosed herewith.

Information sought: As the UAN Portal is not functioning properly, Member has requested for a Provident Fund Account Statement (Member Ledger).

Information Available: As requested by Member the copy of Member Ledger is enclosed.
