2) Your eligibility depends on various factors like your age, education, work experience among others. The 2 posts I mentioned earlier has all the resources you need to check if you are eligible or not.
3) You do not need any documents (other than your IELTS report and your ECA) until you receive your Invitation to Apply. You will receive your ITA only if your Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) >= the CRS cut-off of the draw. The links provided above would explain how to calculate your CRS.
4) Your current illegal status in the US might (or might not) affect your PR process to Canada. Please remember you would have to get a Police Clearance Certificate from FBI as a part of the documentation for your PR application (I am assuming you have stayed in the US for a period of 6 months or more cumulatively).
5) Your funds have to be liquid and in your name (or in a joint account with your spouse). It can be in the form of money in savings account, fixed deposits etc. Immovable assets (like property etc) cannot be used to show POF. Join account with parents might not be accepted.
