Do I need to show pay stub for work experience outside of Canada or is the job reference letter enough for proof?

Hello, I have a question. 1560 hours calculation.
My first job , flexible part time, sometimes 8 hours or 10 or 30 hours, as 2nd lnaguage instructor for 1370 hours so far and still continuing (March 2018 - ). Lately, i got a second job also a 2nd language professor, that is full time, and already worked 300 hours (June 10 - ). So working both jobs right now.
Is it possible to claim both jobs for one year full time experience CEC ? No overlapping risk? Reference letters for all of them?

Thank you

They only count a max of 30 hours a week, regardless of how many jobs you have. Calculate accordingly and see if you have 1560 hours.

Ok thank you. Because i just added up my part time working hours to give me 1370 hours ÷ 30 = 45 weeks and my full time hours of the 2nd job is 300 hours ÷ 30 = 10 weeks, not counting the extra, so 1670 hours in 55 weeks. Right??

All, My PR application was approved yesterday. How long does it typically take for them to send out the passports? I am living in Detroit area and I sent my passport to 365 Laurier Ave West.

Shouldn't take longer than 10-14 days.

Hi there,
May I ask what is the minim score required to get to the express entry pool? If my score is 380, can I get into the pool?
Thanks in advance
There is no minimum score to get into pool. The score is to process your application further after you enter the pool.

In order to process ahead in the pool, the person has to check the express entry draws, held approximately on fortnightly basis. These scores define what is the minimum score accepted in a particular period of time. So you have to stay updated with the same.

As far as the latest express entry draw is concerned, it was held on July 24th 2019, the minimum score accepted is 459.

Hi All,

I have few questions on Work ex letters.

1) I am working in my current org since last 5 years , so only this letter would be sufficient as criteria shows "5 yrs or more " gets 70 or 80 marks in CRS criteria or should i try to get letters from earlier org also for 2 yrs of work ex
2) in few month , my role in current org would change, then even NOC might also change , then shall i take exp letter and keep it beforehand or we can include different NOC exp in same letter later on
3) If i take work ex letter now from working org, is there any validity to it.

Sorry for multiple questions, but i am stuck, please help me.

Thank you

Dear all,

With an IELTS test scheduled for this coming Saturday, I'm excited to start building my Express Entry profile soon. Could you please clarify a few things based on your experience:

1. Do I need list my current job to claim points? I've been just 2 months full-time in my current position, full-time/part-time internship since June 2018. All paid (in the US). It will be two months less than 4 years if I only claim my verifiable work experience in the home country (Russia).

2. NOC-related question. My primary NOC is 0124 - Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations Managers. My current job title is Marketing Manager. However, at previous position back home I was hired as a Copywriter. It's a different NOC, 5121, Authors and Writers, and the description for this NOC has very little to do with my actual responsibilities that were closer to the 0124 NOC. Is it safe to provide Marketing Manager title in the experience letter - given the employer/supervisor is totally OK with it?

3. My current employer has an office in Toronto. I've been working with them since June 2018 in the US, but mostly part-time along with my degree coursework. In this case, can they provide a LMIA-exempt offer to boost my points, or will they have to go through the LMIA process for it? To my understanding, LMIA is similar to the US PERM (job ads, etc?)

4. My travel history will indicate I traveled a lot around Europe during my claimed work experience years. The thing is I "worked from home" from the second year in the Russian firm, and it included working from and airbnb in the mountains of Slovenia/Bavaria/Italy about 4-5 times a year. Will it raise any suspicion with the reviewing officer? Should I submit an explanation letter saying that I've been a home worker?

Thanks

1. No, you don't.

2. Not a good idea to change documents ex post facto. It really doesn't matter what your title is, the duties are what count. If you claim you were 0124 with the title "Copywriter", the officer will look at your duties to see if they match the NOC description. If they do, it will be accepted that you did 0124 work. Changing documents can be seen as misrepresentation, especially if they happen to call your company (or check your LinkedIn), and they find a completely different title that way.

3. LMIA-exempt job offers only count in very limited circumstances. You can read about that here - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/offer-employment/lmia-exempt.html

If you don't fall under one of those exemptions, then you will need an LMIA.

One last thing, since my agent is the one who made my express entry profile. How can i check in my profile if they have chosen or indicated that i am interested to live in “All province and territories”?
You can either take the login details from your agent and check it or you can ask our consultant to send a screenshot of the same.

I am trying to enter my personal activities and i get an error everytime:
Error Description: Problematic field: Personal activities: You must provide at least 10 continuous years of history, or all time since this person's 18th birthday, to the present.

Has anyone ever encountered this before? Can you please explain how the error was fixed?

Hello friends,

I am applying for CEC, when browsing CIC website I found this information
I am working for a company for 1.5 years but my visa will expire on April/2020.
Does it mean I do not have a valid job offer ?

A valid job offer has to be:
  • for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa
Any comments will be highly appreciate.

Thank you
Does anyone has any ideal ?
