Express entry profile without child's passport details ...possible ?

Can we create express entry profile without having passport details of my child(3 years).

I am expecting to ECA report by 27/2/2017 .

No. Your child needs a passport as the passport details have to be entered in the EE profile.

It will just ask the number of dependent children in the "Family" section and I believe passport details of the kid is not needed while creating the EE profile.

Thats right ,even checked with few of my friends ,we dont need passport details any of our dependents for express entry profile .

Hi Buddy...

I assume you were not able to get your child's passport between 25th Feb (date when you raised the query) and 28th (date when you created the EE Profile).
So can you please let me know whether a child's passport details are mandatorily required while creating the EE Profile, or could these be left blank while profile creation and added later.

Hey, a follow up question on this. I recently added my newborn child to the application. Now, I am at the submission stage. On the forms section, for my child, it asks for passport OR for birth registration certificate. So basically, there is an option between passport and birth registration certificate. Can I submit my profile with birth certificate right now and send passport of my daughter at the time of passport submission ?

Passport number for my spouse wasn't required in EE profile but it was asked for during the PR application. So I guess EE profile and entering the pool can be done with just the principal applicant's passport. In the meantime the OP can prepare the passports for the rest.

I think they may be asking that for the proof of relation, different than the actual dependent's passport number. To show that you are the parents proven on the passport.

Hi All,

I am about to submit my application but stuck on a small issue. In the document upload section, there is no provision or uploading link to upload digital photo of my daughter who is not accompanying me. They have asked for medical, passport and birth certificate and provision to upload them too. What should I do with this photo issue? should I upload it with some other document OR simply explain this issue in LOE??
