Hello Everyone,

We have the same problem with my husband and we have some questions please

1. What are the numbers that we need to enter for the WES reference? Ours is a number with IMM. Do we need to put only the number or to add the IMM at the end?
2. For TEF number : they ask for 2 numbers : reference and NIP. We cannot really identify what number to put.
3.For our Master’s degree, we have our wes but we also have put our older studies that have no wes. Maybe it is an issue and we don’t need to out them?
thank you so much for your answers
Click on the small help icon, it will tell you for the tef number, must be same for the wes. enter the full number

Hi, did you resolve the problem? If not, let me know.
Hello,
Hope you are doing well,
Unfortunately I have been facing the same issue my application is being rejected for the 2nd time, and the CRS score is coming down to 0,

> My ielts score is ( 7.5,7,6,6 (L-S-R-W), I believe that is equivalent to CBL7
> My Degree has been attested through WES
> I dont have any job offers yet,
> I have few certifications other than my bachelors degree, I have selected (Bachelor's degree) from the drop down menu
> My CRS score is 351

By reading this forum and your comments on other fellow member's issues I believe I am committing a mistake in the work experience, (correct me if I am wrong here: experience after by graduation will be counted correct? )

in my first attempt, I used the NOC code of 0124, then in my second attempt I chose 1123, I am adding a screenshot here,

Would really appreciate if you can guide me here,

Thanks a ton

To be eligible for Express Entry, you need one year of continuous work experience in one NOC. Have you been in that second job since 2018 to the present. You don’t count certifications unless in the trades and certified by the provincial trades body. How old are you?

So your profile is ineligible, and you have said no to job offer, provincial nomination and certifications? Do you have 67 points to be eligible for Express Entry (not your CRS score)?

You need 67 points. What does your ECA state. I don’t think you are eligible with 67 points so you need to improve your IELTS scores.

Thank you for sharing the link,
I calculated, I am getting 68 points,
ECA is Bachelors degree ( and got the degree accredited as well )

with my ielts score as per the link its equivalent to CBL9
IELTS score is: 7,7.5,6,6 (S,L,R,R)

I only get 65 points for you. You don’t have CLB 9. Each band is scored separately so points are 6,5,4,4 so a total of 19 out of 24.

Hi,

I am facing the same issue. received a score of 0 on the express entry profile after submission. I am not sure how this is possible. Based on the thread I am reading,

  • I have put in my current job profile in the work history
  • My NOC matches my current profile
  • I have 3 different NOCs in my work history
  • I don't have a Canadian Certification of Qualification
  • My ECA is awaited from WES, but I don't see how that could be a factor of not being eligible as I can't mention (the ECA) anywhere in the form
  • My IELTS score is recent 04/2021 L:9, R:7, W:8, S:8
  • I dont have a nomination certificate from any province
  • I dont have a certificate of qualification from a canadian province
  • I dont have a current job offer from Canada
  • My work experience is over 6 years now, with gap in between for my Masters degree - would that be a problem ?
Would really appreciate your assistance in helping me identify the cause of CRS score of 0

Thanks
Hi, how's everything doing?
I have similar situation. I don't have ECA for now, is this the cause? Did you get your issue resolved after getting ECA?
Also, would you please let me know if gaps and different NOC working experience have an impact in the scoring?

Thanks

What stream are you applying to? You need ECA if including foreign education.

Hi All,

I have the same issue.

My Language scores (IELTS L-8,R-8,S-7,W-6.5) Just completed a week back.
ECA ( Bachelors degree ) with 4 years equivalent - WES Completed on Jan 2019 (Still less than 5 years)
Work Experience ( In the questionnaire I entered 4 years)
Age -28

This is where I might have calculated incorrectly.

I worked 2 years continuously from ( Aug 2014 -Aug 2016 )
Then , I have 3 years gap
Started to Work again from (Aug 2019 - Aug 2020) In one company & (Aug 2020 - Till Now) In another company - I would consider this as continuous.

Total - 4+ years (None of them are Canada and I did it in homeland)

My noc is 2173. I entered as 45 hours / week? Would that be a problem as I read 30 is the maximum considered? My designation/title has been changed throughout but under same 2173 code. I used senior software engineer/technical lead as titles . Should it be just be Software Engineer?

I also had a doubt in the research question, which was asking if I require license and I mentioned it as No.

In my education section, I only mentioned my Bachelor's degree. Do we need to mention High school as well?

I calculated under FSW and seems to have more than 67 points and I selected that I am applying for all provinces.

Any help is appreciated
