Hi All,

I have submitted my Express Entry profile (From India) under Federal Skilled Worker Program.
During the eligibility check, it showed that I am eligible, but after submission, it is showing that I am not eligible.
I am trying to understand the reason. Can someone please help me? Here are the details -

# of applicants - Me(Primary) and my husband(Secondary/Dependent)
My IELTS Score - R: 6.5 W: 6 S: 6 L: 6.5
My Husband's IELTS Score - R: 5 W: 5.5 S: 5.5 L: 5.5

Also, do I need to evaluate my education qualification with ECA before submission? Or just simple mention "Yes" in that question. Let me know.

Very hard to tell unless we know all the answers you have put for the questions relating to your profile. I've tried to help people in the past with this, and it's very difficult, many times the solution is just a small error they made when they completed their profile.

Review the eligibility criteria for FSW here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html

Confirm you have the minimum 67 points, if you do then go through your answers for your profile, make adjusts to answers you may have answered wrong.

If you haven't completed ECA then you don't qualify.

I have selected "No" as an answer to the question "Has XXX had an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) within the past five years for this degree, diploma or certificate?" Do you think this can be the reason?

I put 17000 CAD as the sufficient fund which should be good.

So what I am thinking the reason for ineligibility will be either due to the answer "No" to the ECA question or my husband's IELTS score being less than 6 in all section (min is CLB 7 = 6 in all sections). What do you think?

Is ECA mandatory even before submission of the profile?

Yes - ECA is mandatory before you can submit your profile.
