Express Entry Profile Completion Help - Immigration and Citizenship Question

Hello all,

I have a quick question and would be grateful if some of you can please provide your input. Under the citizen and immigration section in the EE profile, there is a question that If I have applied to CIC before?

I visited in 2002 for a month on a tourist visa, is the answer yes for me for this question? or they are referring to PR related applications?

Anyone with thoughts out there, maybe the seniors.

Just to clarify, I am trying to ask if I need to answer yes I have applied to CIC before, if I've had a tourist visa from them 12 years ago. It feels like the question only refers to PR applications. I just wanted to be correct answering this so would be grateful if anyone can give their thoughts.

Hi!

I am not an expert but I can say that you need to mention if you have applied to CIC before ever regardless of Visa category and outcome. In case of EE, they have specific question if you have applied under EE before.

Hence in your case you need to say 'YES' and provide the relevant information as required.
