Express Entry: not getting jobs of NOC 2173

Hello Guys,

I had applied for express entry nearly 5-6 months back with score 383. Also applied for job bank and other Canadian job sites for job offers. In job bank I am not getting any list of jobs related to my field also there is on 1-2 jobs listed only related to sales. If I applied to other job sites then I am getting many replies but at end they all say they don't hire from abroad. Is there anyone who is facing same problem? As by this way there is no chance I am able to get higher ranking. Please provide me solution to this problem.

1. Don't lose hope and keep trying. Canadian employers are usually wary of hiring from outside Canada so it's not going to be easy or quick.

2. Look for areas to improve your CRS score - look at your language assessment scores and see how you can improve on those. That has a disproportionate impact on your CRS scores.

3. Instead of sending out CVs and response to job ads by the dozen, use a more refined approach by building LinkedIn contacts and improving your Canadian network. That will have greater impact than trawling job sites.

I had also tried my contacted through LinkedIn and other personal contacts. But they all say getting LMIA is big thing. If you were here working for some employer then they can convince to provide you with LMIA but impossible with abroad hiring. Main question is way I am not getting job posting on Job Bank. Aren't there are any employer looking to hire? Or they done what more immigrants?
It looks like they are more concern with provide PR's to people's with student and work permit visa. Hope soon they start hiring immigrants.

the majority of people here are immigrants, they do hire immigrants. but its obviously more difficult to hire people that aren't here than people who are.
and yes, the focus probably is on ensuring those qualified to stay who are already here and have already started building a life and put down roots, get sorted first. it doesn't make sense to prioritize people not here and not contributing over people who are.
The job bank isn't yet fully functional. When it is you'll probably see more positions that suit you. in the meantime, work on improving your score.
