Hi everyone!

I'm pretty new here and just started considering Skilled immigrants (Express Entry). I went through the eligibility test and it seems that I am eligible but I put my old IELTS scores and have booked an IELTS test in April.

I was wondering if I can create my profile with a dummy IELTS score/exam date and update it later on?

Generally, is there anything else I can do to speed up the process before I have my IELTS result? Things like police certificates, qualification assessments etc.

I would not suggest doing that, you need to get the IELTS result, Educational assessment analysed and then create EE. Police Certificate is Valid for 6 months so better to get it when you receive ITA.

I would suggest you not to use any dummy score for IELTS , as it will be considered as misrepresentation and you could get banned for 5 years for doing that ,Credential evaluation and IELTS are needed before you create EE profile, and as far as other things are concerned like PCC those are needed after you receive Invitation to apply .

you should get an ECA too if you are not educated in Canada.
