Hello guys,
Hopefully you all are doing fine.

I have a question regarding Educational documents. I have been working as a full time software developer but I have also completed my Masters degree from a recognized University in Weekend Classes ( Saturday-Sunday )
My question is, both my Masters degree and work experience will be counted by EE. Please let me know if I'm incorrect.

Thanks in adv.
Work experience gained OUTSIDE CANADA while you were a full-time student can be used to claim CRS points.

Hi Guys,

I have a query regarding immigration. I’ve got a PNP nomination from Ontario and I’ve applied PR via express entry online. My application is in progress as of now.

Currently, I’m in Delhi, India, and waiting for my PPR. I also applied for my Master's degree in the US and I have got an offer from a university in Florida. The problem is the start date of the course which is September 2021.

My plan is to quit my course and move to Canada if I get PPR. My question is will I be able to do it? Could they cancel my PR application via PNP if they know I recently moved to the USA? Will it be against the intent of settling in the province?

Should I then go for my course in the USA or wait for my PPR and lose this opportunity?

My priority is to get PR in Canada over a student visa in the US.

Hi everyone,

So our family's PR application to Canada has been refused a few day ago unfortunately. We had applied under the G5 sponsorship. Is it possible for me to apply for PR again under a different program such as express entry or is that impossible because I was rejected under the G5 refugee program? I feel I have the qualifications to meet express entry and I checked the portal to confirm that I do but I fear it might eventually be refused because of my previous refusal.

I'd appreciate your responses.

You can certainly apply under Express Entry if you have enough points. The fact you were refused under G5 does not prevent you from applying for PR through an economic immigration program. You'll just need to make sure you declare the G5 refusal in your Express Entry application. Good luck.

If you are moving to US on Study Visa, it won't impact your OINP application. Once you move to US, just update IRCC through webform.
Though the updates are taking endless time these days

and, there will be one more situation...

Since you applied from India, the PPR email will ask you to submit Passports to VFS in India...
However, if you are in US, the Passports are sent through Return-Courier service from US to Canada for Visa Stamping....

once you move to US, and you update your country of residence to US to IRCC, and if they dont update it on time, you will be stuck to get your Visa stamping....

It has happened two a couple of friends that I know of, Even one guy moved to Canada on TRV, but he got his PPR email to submit at VFS India...

You know everything now, so decide yourselves.

If both education and Work exp. is outside of Canada, then you can claim

Hi guys, I have a question .... I have received ITA in CEC draw , currently working in Canada and applying for it(have all the supporting documents)... But last week i have attended an interview for a US company in which i got selected and they want me to relocate to US.. I wanted to know what will happen to my PR application process if i move to US ... Thanks in advance
If the Work experience under CEC is in last 3 years, then your application will continue to process. Its not mandatory for the CEC applicant to be living in Canada during application process. You should update IRCC as soon as you move to US.

QUestion! Help!

I have one year skilled work for CEC but I changed jobs. What would be my primary job? the one year or the new one?

Also can ROE/Letter of employment count as Offer letter if I will use the old job?

Your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA if you want to claim the 50 job offer points. What you have now does not count as a job offer since you are on an open work permit.

oh, No no I dont need that, Im happy with my points. I have 40 for work experience. So when I upload the documents, there is an offer letter and a letter of employment. Do I use the new offer letter even though my 1 year work is based on the old one? and if so do I use my old work's letter of employment instead of the new one? I do not want to mess it up and i think I am by overthinking things :\

If you are not claiming 50 points for the LMIA based job offer,
then you can use the old job offer (it optional though). But everyone has been uploading it. It will not create any issues in your application.
Dont forget a reference letter and recent pay stubs to support your work experience.

hello
Me and my wife is planning to migrate to Canada through express entry profile. My wife is the main applicant and she has done Masters from Germany in hospitality. she has experience around 3 years working in KFC during her studies . Will this be calculated as work experience for EE as its during her studies not after completion of Graduation. Any advise will be appreciated.
