Hi All
I'm planning to apply under Express Entry FSWP program.

Below is the break-up of my summary letter

Job 1: June 2015 – December 2015
Designation: Operations Executive

Job 2: Jan 2016 – December 2016
Designation: App distribution and Analytics Associate

Gap: Jan 2017 – May 2017

Job 3: June 2017 – Till Date
Designation: Analyst

Query1: For job 1 and job 2, I have offer letter relieving letter but as I was paid stipend so don't have pay stubs. Will it pose any issue for proving my employment? What's the alternate way to prove my employment?
Query2: I had gap of 6 months between job 2 and job 3, will it be an issue?
Query3: Company 2 has been closed now, so it might be difficult to get job responsibility letter. How can we overcome this issue?
Query4: My responsibilities in all 3 jobs are not exactly same but it's more of mobile app analysis. I assume i would fall under NOC – 2171?
Query5: Does my designation align with NOC – 2171? Or will it pose any issue?
Query6: As per express entry you need to have 3 years of work experience to get maximum points. Does it has to be under same NOC, under which you are applying or in totality it has to be 3 years or more?

Hi Friends
Good day. I'm in need of your expert advise.

I have finally received my ECA from WES for my PGDM from AIMA Delhi. I did this evaluation as an upgrade to my initial Bachelor's of Commerce from University of Madras, India.

My result is as follows
CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Two bachelor's degrees (four years)
Second ECA Report (original completed on November, 06, 2017)

I have 2 queries.

1. Can i claim 2 or more degree based on this? My B com was 3 years and my PGDM was for 2 years. However i got the statement from WES that both of them are for 4 years.

A) Credential: Bachelor of Commerce
Year: 2008
Awarded By: University of Madras
Status: Recognized Institution
Major/Specialization: Accounting
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)

B) Credential: Postgraduate Diploma (AICTE)
Year: 2010
Awarded By: All India Management Association
Status: Recognized Program
Major/Specialization: Financial Management
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)

2. My second query is around the WES ECA reference number to put in CIC profile. I had initially mentioned the initial reference number which i got for my B.COM. After receiving my PGDM assessment, i have updated the updated reference number just for PGDM. have i done it correctly? As the updated reference number has got both B Com and PGDM, going forward should i just use the updated reference number going forward for B Com and PGDM?

kindly advise friends as this might take my points from 429 to 461

Brother, I'm exactly in the same boat. However I have not yet recieved my upgraded evaluation. Initially i did my Evaluation for my engineering degree and got my ECA as canadian equivalency 4 years and has created the EE profile with the same reference number. Now I have upgraded my application to evaluate my 1 year diploma. Now after recieving my upgraded ECA, should i have to discard my previous WES number and put the latest number near Engineering degree column in my EE. I dont know what i have to enter in my Education details in my EE. DO i have to simply first put my engineering qualificaion first with previous WES number and add another qualification of diploma with new WES number?. Totally confused

Hello all!

I have a question as to when I'm supposed to create my EE profile. By May 15, 2018, I will have gained 3 years of work experience. Should I create my EE profile on or after May 15, 2018? Or, shall I go ahead and create my EE profile now?

Why not wait for your spouse's ECA and then enter the pool? Its not gonna make much difference anyway. I mean you won't be submitting application sooner this way. So I think you should wait. In the mean time you can start gathering the required documents post ITA.
I was actually thinking of the same, but my birthday is on 25th June and then I will lose 5 points. I am worried I wont stand a chance then..even after having my wife's ECA done. You please suggest me. I read in some forum, people edit EE form post ITA. one has to submit LoE for that matter. Can you explain me what exactly is it?

Those who have mentioned wrong information and gets ITA gets their applications rejected during PR stage. So, It is good if you are mentioning correct information. On a second thought, why don't you appear in IELTS again and try to improve it?

Mi IELTS is good, all above 7, Canadian CLB 9+ I need to sit French test, hopefully will do it by August.

I have multiple clients who has done Education from Symbiosis International University, Pune but not sure if WES will recognize it
So, you are a consultant?

Hello,

I would like to ask what happens if i get married to my partner, who has a Canadian passport already, before i do my landing. Currently, my status is considered single

I am currently waiting for a response to my invitation, so its a bit early. However, assuming i get approved (which i hope in October 2018), i have 1 year (if im correct) to do my landing. In this year, i may get married, but for now, im considered single. My partner has the Canadian passport since she was born. Hence, If i marry after the approval and before my landing, would there be an issue if i get married, since she has the passport already, so I would not be really sponsoring anyone?

Also, i applied as if Im single, with no sponsorship.

Overall, given that my partner already has the Canadian passport, is there an issue if we get married before my landing. and do my landing as normal?

Would appreciate any reply or help on this matter

There will be no problem if you are not using her Citizenship status to complete/apply your PR.

Hi all, quick question regarding the police report.
I've been living in Toronto over a year now so obviously I'll need to get a Canadian police report. When I was applying for my 2 year visa to come to Canada in the first I had to get a police report from my home country (Ireland). I would have got that maybe 6 months before I moved here. Can I still use that police report for my application or would I have to get another, more recent one?

you have mentioned: B) Employer Reference letters are required for the PA. The reference letter must be as specified by CIC. You can find the details of what the reference letters should be like in the link provided at the end of this section.

Can you please provide the link?
