IQAS is evaluating SCDL. Try your luck there.

Yes you can include your spouse after ITA too. Your scores will be recalculated though and if they fall below the cut-off, application will be rejected. But in your case, it looks like your score will increase.

I am filing the WES thing for my spouse at the moment. So if I get lucky to have ITA during this draw, even then I should be able to apply for my spouse like you said. What exact formalities are required? OR should i simply re-enter the details of my wife and resubmit the form?
Please help me out on this. How things will happen after I re-submit even after getting an ITA? I am little confused & worried here.

If you are confident about a higher CRS, then its better that you apply for your spouse's ECA and mark them as accompanying in your application. Once you get their ECA report, you can update the profile.

Hi Yusra though I have no personal experience of Symbiosis but I have read on one of the forums that WES does not recognise distant learning courses from Symbiosis. However I have read people getting it done from IQAS successfully. So you can learn more about this from those who have done. I will look up and copy you the link. Good luck with that.

try searching that university on following tool, if it shows, then WES will evaluate else go to IQAS.

Here in the link it's taking University + course as recognized but that take if the name is in their list but sometime's when report comes from WES so it is non recognized though it was in the help centre tool or their online account.

I have multiple clients who has done Education from Symbiosis International University, Pune but not sure if WES will recognize it

Good day all. Please, I have a question to ask and I hope I'd get the right answer.

I am a medical doctor, with over five years post graduation experience (including Internship and working as a medical officer while doing the compulsory National Youth Service in my country Nigeria). Ever since then, I have been working in private hospitals as a Medical Officer with job roles including outpatient, inpatient and emergency care.

I also decided to make a gradual career switch to Epidemiology, so I commenced my Masters in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics last year and will do my research dissertation defence in a few months as the final phase before I get my Masters degree.

Additionally, I have passed my IELTS examination but currently waiting for the source verification of my medical degree with the ECFMG before I can proceed with the ECA.

Please, I would like to ask the following questions:

1) What will be the ideal NOC to choose as a Medical Doctor with a general practitioner experience, bearing in mind that my employment letters bear the role of Medical Officer or Medical Doctor?

2) Can post-college Internship/Housemanship be included as part of professional experience while applying for the Express Entry?

3) Can I get a job as an epidemiologist if I successfully get into Canada, bearing in mind that I will soon be done with my Masters and that I have about a year's experience volunteering with NGOs in that regard?

My current score without accompanying is 443. The moment I select as accompanying and ECA not done, the scores drop to 434. This way I wont even get the ITA.
My point of asking is I select not accompanying at the moment and maintain 443 score. Simultaneously I am working on my wife's ECA. I expect to receive ITA during this draw. So if I want to change my form as "spouse accompanying" after getting wife's ECA reports AFTER ITA receipt, is it possible?

I would not recommend this. The CRS will be lower in couple of months. Why do you want to take chances?

I need your help here. Please help me out.!!
I had chosen the option "not accompanying" in EE since my wife's ECA wasn't done (her transcripts were not received). I was also loosing time & score draws when her points were not getting reflected due to no ECA done.
However now that the transcripts have come and I want to apply for ECA with WES for her. I have 2 doubts here:
1. My score without accompanying spouse is 443. If I choose accompanying but ECA not done, the scores drop to 434 (with wife's ECA done it will be 444 anyway). At the moment I think I should go with not accompanying, that way I stand a chance to have ITA with 443 score. Pls suggest!!
2. Will I be able to include my wife even after getting an ITA? (Simultaneously I am working on my wife's ECA) This is because reading all the discussions in various forums, it looks difficult to have sponsorship for her later.
So if I want to change my form as "spouse accompanying" after getting wife's ECA reports AFTER ITA receipt, is it possible?

Why not wait for your spouse's ECA and then enter the pool? Its not gonna make much difference anyway. I mean you won't be submitting application sooner this way. So I think you should wait. In the mean time you can start gathering the required documents post ITA.
