Hi all.

Can anyone guide about how to register for New Brunswick information session? There is a website and all it has an email for sending registration request if your not from the country where the session will take place. I have sent 2 emails already but no reply. I want to register for AbuDhabi session in July.

If no reply from the,. You can't attend the session. Unless you are a resident in the country which the session is being held.

Wait... I'm thoroughly confused..

I submitted my EE profile, and got a pdf within a day letting me know to make a profile on job bank.

After i made the profile, i input my job duties and selected the province i wanted to live in.

A few questions:
1. Will job bank send me an email and let me know if there are similar jobs to mine?

2. It was mentioned on an earlier response that we can use alternative job search engines, is this true? how do i let it link to job bank then?

Job bank is a registration formality. You need to register with job bank to complete your EE profile registration. You can create accounts on other boards as well. No harm. Why do you wan to link other job boards with job bank? :-\ :-X

3. What if i can barely find jobs with my NOC (1315 customs brokers, sjip brokers etc.) is this an issue?

Job bank results are mostly inappropriate. That is why I suggested you to try other job boards.

4. Do i state that i am looking for jobs in all provinces or just the one i live in (Ontario)?

In the job bank profile, doesn't matter. In EE profile, you can just say "All provinces".

I update my profile to job bank on Jun 5.

Did you activate it? Only if you activate it, your EE profile will be set to "Open" status.

Any other info to help me with this process is appreciated.

Hi Guy,
I got a request from CIC for Schedule A form, they want details of my address from Sept 2012 to July 2013.

I downloaded the generic Schedule A form and its very long and there are things in there which CIC did not ask for like education history work history. My question- do i need to fill the entire form or just the address history section?

I believe it is sufficient if you fill in the details that CIC has asked for.

I heard that if your CRS is above 400 then you will receive an invitation from Ontario. What is the minimum time it takes to get an invitation from Ontario? Pls suggest...

Generally, it is mentioned either in the statement or at the top of the credentials/ degree certificates that the so so candidate has passed the examination, held in Month, Year Example: April, 2014 (for a course of two years).
In this way, you can write starting date of course as first Monday of May, 2012 which will be 7th May 2012 (Seeing the calendar). In the same way the ending date of your course can be last Friday of April, 2014 which will be 25th April, 2014 (Seeing the calendar).

Use this method.

I did click the activate button which made my account active, but so far I have not seen any jobs that are similar to my skill set.

When I go and see jobs on other websites, how do i let job bank know about it? how can those jobs not posted in job bank help me?

This whole process is confusing to me, they should make it easier for people who have studied here and are currently working. My company is not willing to do the LMIA, but if they let me go will they not be looking for someone with my skill set. Its all messed up ...

Ontario has paused nominations. As your score is above 450, you can expect in next couple of months if they increase the ITAs.
