Hi,

I am on ICT work permit from India. IN EE profile what i need to mention for the below:

Intended Work in Canada
Does Mr.X have a job offer in Canada?

The Offer Must :
be full-time,non-seasonal and permanent work
meet different requirements depending on type of job (i.e. some need apprenticeships and certification)

For this what should i say Yes or No.

As i am currently working here on ICT Work permit can i give Yes here.

Thanks
Unless you have a job offer that is backed by a LMIA, you should say NO.

Hello again Raj,

I received my ITA yesterday. I have been going through my personal checklist and I was hoping you could help me clarify some information. Below is what is stated regarding proof of funds

Express Entry – Permanent Residents

If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:

list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months,
list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans,
be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address).

Is it compulsory we provide all the information requested above? I ask this because I was only planning on providing my savings account which has the required funds. I have credit cards which I have not fully repaid, will providing that information harm my application.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this.

Thanks
You can provide a letter from your bank that mentions your name, account number, date of opening and funds. Plus, get 6 months statements stamped by the bank. Submitting these would suffice.

Yeah! did checked for Aero related degrees, could not find any. So selected 'other engineering fields' and wrote a mail to job bank to add my degrees to the list. let us see!!

Thanks
Claire
Yes, this will suffice. Moreover, jobbank is just for the purpose of eligibility and the information in that, AFAIK, doesn't affect your PR application in any way.

Good luck!

No. Don't risk it. Some statements on the CIC website are ambiguous (sometimes contradictory). So, I strongly recommend that you get all your documents translated AND notarized AND submit both the versions to CIC.
Alright then... I won't risk.

Thanks.

Please check this link ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

Check if you get at least 67 points. If you do, then, you are eligible.

IELTS plays a very important role in your CRS score, therefore I would suggest you to target CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777). You can try these values in the calculators here and see for yourself how much of a difference IELTS makes to your CRS score.

Regarding consultants, you may have to spend more than the OINP Fees CAD 1,500. They will tell you the same thing what is there in the Application Guide. Instead you can give me half the amount, I can you guide you better than an agent ;). Jokes apart, if you follow this forum, you will be in a position to do everything on your own. Most of your questions would already have been answered by many experienced people on this forum and still if you feel that there is a blocker, post your question here, I am sure, people will be more than willing to help you. In the end the decision is yours, if you have the money and willing to hire an agent, you will be able to find many consultants. But after everything is done, you will feel, you paid them to you tell you things which are easily available on OINP sites, forums like these etc.

You can refer to these links. It will answer most of your questions

Excellent explanation. Many many thanks for this.

I have some questions regarding pay stubs and different jobs.

I finished one year of my job on 28th January 2016 but I got my one week pay in starting by cash advance and next week's pay was written as 1*1860 hours = 1860. I want to know will it be problem for me? I think it is my payroll company's mistake not mine. I asked my HR he said we can not do anything in this. I got one pay check for 3 weeks also. In starting 3 months training period they pay me less after 3 months I am getting more than earlier so how will they look on application with this kind of irregularities? Please explain me as I am afraid of even creating express entry profile due to some mistakes in my pay stubs.

Another question is I have worked in three jobs after I got my work permit. 1 job was similar to what I am doing now but it was just for one month contract. Do I have to mention it in profile and give all the paperwork for that job ?

Thanks

Thank you. Sorry to be a bore but I have another question regarding ECA reports. Are we expected to have an ECA for all our degrees or the highest degree? which in my case is a Masters. I ask this because I only had my masters evaluated which was what I used when I submitted my PNP application.

Yoa have been an immense source of information and I am truly grateful. Also this probably won't be my last question ;D
