Still in the process of determining eligibility for the program. I have not applied. I did the assessment and it looks like we will be able to reach the required 67 points. This is the only thing that's stopping us from applying
In that case, this requires further scrutiny. I believe you might not be able to apply to NBPNP if your NOC is regulated and you do not have a license for it.

@Asivad - Could you please clarify?

@other NBPNP applicants - Could you please help MeltingPot out?

IELTS is mandatory for the primary applicant and optional for the dependant but if the dependant takes it, it adds points to the PA's CRS.

To understand CRS -->
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You could check the difference in CRS by keying in the details in the following tool -->

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

I have applied for canada PR visa through a consultancy which also includes Job assistance. My ECA is done. I want to know what is the next process?
What are the chances of getting Job?

Unlikely!

Canadian employers are required to go through stringent procedures before employing foreign workers. Why would they hire a person who is just beginning the process when they already have a big pool of PR s and citizens who are already in Canada?

Unless you have exceptional capability, getting a job in Canada when you are still not a PR is unlikely. If your consultant "promised" you a job, he has lied!

The process is very clearly outlined in the post -

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-in-a-nutshell-t394158.0.html;msg4915358#msg4915358

Go through it and feel free to post any questions you might have!

Hi wanted to ask as we are supposed to cover the last 10 years.

My current Passport is valid from 2011 - 2021

My previous passport is valid from 2002 - 2012

I'm about to go so Staples for scanning. Can anyone tell me if I need to include the previous passport details in my profile as some of the visa stamps for countries I visited on holiday are in there?

Thanks.

Not required.

CIC doesn't ask for entry or exit stamps/expired passport details.

Thanks Asivad but should I include the previous passport detail in my Express Entry profile?

Hi all, quick question.

For 3 months of my 1+ year of work in Canada I was working on a 'Contract of Service' where I was employed by the recruitment agent receiving a T4, working set hrs at client premises, satisfying all of the conditions of a 'de-facto employee'. Initially in my profile for:

1) do you have a job offer I stated 'Yes'
2) Is it 'Permanent' and 'Non-Seasonal' 'No'
3) is it more than 1 year 'No'
4) Address of Employer: 'gave Recruitment Agent Address'
5) Address of Client: 'gave client Address'
6) I did not get the 600 points

On the advice of Asivad, Raj, and others I went back and changed to 'No'.

My question is: 'Do I need to include the 'Recruitment Agent Address' or 'Client Address'? Do I need an LOE for this?

Thanks for all replies.

After you changed it to "No", is it still prompting you for this information?

1) Job title
2) employer name
3) Street Address
