Hello friends,

I require an important information from you regarding Date of Birth certificate. I don't have DOB certificate as in India one born before 1989 doesn't require a DOB certificate. So i haven' made it earlier. My application is struck due to this.

Is DOB certificate mandatory for OINP (i have to go for OINP route as my CRS is around 415) and then for PR application?
I applied to OINP without any birth certificate. I just attached my passport bio page (which is necessary anyway), and added a letter of explanation explaining that my birth certificate is now lost, but that it was necessary to have my passport made- that my details and credentials were thoroughly assessed by the passport authorities before it was issued to me; and that the same passport has been used to travel worldwide, including to the US, before.
Just attach a similar Letter of Explanation, and you should be good to go. However, in the checklist at the end of the OINP form, make sure you tick the 'Proof of Birth' box! If you don't, then your application is automatically rejected as being incomplete.

Yes, this is a good idea. Additionally, he can also submit copies of any national identity document which has the date of birth, like for example PAN Card, Aadhaar Card (this has been mentioned in OINP Application Guide).

Hi Stanlee
If you don't mind, pls can you help me with my questions?

In a case were I worked under two different noc in the same company, do I get one employment certificate to cover both Noc or two?
When filling my EE profile, how do I enter personal and work history? especially since I was working and schooling Part- Time at the same time
Also can I claim work experience that is over 10years ago?

Thx

If your company is willing to give you two letters for the two different NOCs, it would be good. But generally companies do no issue multiple letters, even if you have handled multiple roles. So the best you can do is get one letter and have two sections to the letter, one for each position. If you are claiming points for the experience (gained while studying), mention it under work experience and if you are claiming points for the education with an ECA, mention it under Education.

If possible try to improve your IELTS score as its the fastest way to increase your points, Try to get CLB 10. i.e L-8.5, R-8.0, W- 7.5, S- 7.5. with this your score will immediately become 400. Hence you will be able to apply for PNP's. Some provinces might still pick you up check if you come under their categories.
Another method and a patient one is to increase your experience if it is less than 3 years or take another education degree to improve your score. Don't be disheartend bro, keep faith. Also I highly recommend you to check for your eligibility in different provinces. All the best. Feel free to ask anything more.

i have one question, is it advisable to create my EE profile (where my wife and kid (1 yr) are my dependent) and at the same time create my wife's profile (where me and my kid are dependent). As and when one of the profile gets ITA, other profile is withdrawn. Is it acceptable or if CIC finds it out they will take any action against any or both of the profiles.?

The reason for this is: I am a mechanical engineer and my wife is a physiotherapist so in case some province has preference for any of the occupation chances are open to get nomination under PNP. so just to increase chances to get ITA.
