Hello,
I got a question about medical exam
So after getting ITA, I visited one of the designated hospitals, passed the check and received two paper pages at the end, first one with my photo on the top, e-Medical logo and bar code with some number called UMI under it, and the second one containing a small portion of text started on the first page
As far as I understand, I need just to scan these pages and upload when applying, is that correct? Should I scan anything else? For example the payment bill for medical check

I'm wondering why I'll need PCC and medical of my spouse when she's not coming here.?
We are married as of now but in near future we're going to apply for divorce in india and thats the reason I do not want to include her.

Because CIC doesn't know that you will be divorcing in future and they just don't want people using this route (non-accompanying) as short cut to escape inadmissibility (family members are exempt from excessive demand medicals etc.) in future through family sponsorship route.

Why not divorce now and submit the application as a single person? This will avoid you having to convince your soon to be divorced wife to do PCC and Medicals...

Probably because the process of divorcing can take 12 months or more in some countries.

He'll have to convince his spouse to do the medicals/PCC :/

Wow, 12 months??? What a pain.. I generally thought it can take a long time because one of the couple would drag it out, but not because the country's process was so bureaucratic...

Perhaps if he could start the process and show proof that the process is underway and that he'd upload the divorce certificate as soon as possible they'd exempt him from getting PCC and Medicals for the wife...

Yeah thats what one immigration lawyer told me to do..Just apply for divorce here and attach the proof that it is underway..In this case I'm thinking not to deal with CIC by myself, will find immigration consultant who've experience on such matter.

True, I got married in last June..As per low in India both partner must have to be separated for at least year and then there is 6 months reconciliation period and later it takes up to six months if it is mutual divorce and everything goes fine. Basically in india it is 18-24 months. But If I file here in Canada, One year separation is must. I'm worried because My work permit is going to expire on Sep 2018. So I cant wait for divorce certificate anyhow. How does it effect in getting PNP if anybody knows !

Thanks

Wow... ok! Bear in mind since you got married in India you marital status is governed by Indian law, having been separated of 1 year in Canada (which may count as legally separated in Canada) may not help you.

PNP don't require medicals or PCC, but since you're married then you need to say so. This means your CRS is potentially lower and some PNPs such as OINP require ate least 400 CRS. not sure what kind of problems you could face from the other provinces, but I'm thinking probably not many.

Hi Seniors

So, I saw an update in my profile today. My CRS score went up to 459 from 434 (25 points) due to my second year completed at work (as seen by CIC). My actual start date of work was 30th March 2015 and technically my 2 years should complete on or after 30th March 2017. I have been reading all the posts regarding this and I have asked earlier as well but i am still confused as this is getting credit for almost 2 months - February and whole March. Different opinions I am getting if I receive an ITA in next draw.

1. Decline the ITA and wait for 30th March (this accounts to almost 4 draws or more)
2. Accept the ITA and wait for 30th March and then submit Application (this puts me in question to should I have received ITA or no?)
3. Accept the ITA and go ahead with submitting the complete application anytime as CIC is giving credit for those months and if they had to consider dates, they would have put it in the profile. (almost like I got ITA and applied)

Any Suggestions???? Any experiences regarding this?

If one applies as "married but spouse not accompanying" then to call spouse to Canada, one needs to sponsor? Or they just need to do medicals & PCC and come there when they want to.

You have to go through the spousal sponsorship route.

There you go! Better to be safe than sorry!

So for supporting documents those excels you get from admin will work as a payslip, you'll need to explain in a LoE that you don't get payslips in you country just the excel breakdown, but they'll work!

As far as quitting after one year, that's your right (to get a better paid job) but be very careful here. FSW requires at least 12 months of continuos work on the same job. So ONLY quit after you can prove you've worked for more that 365 days continuously (and if you have taken vacation time then better to work for 365 days + vacation time + a few days just to guarantee).

If you work on the same NOC you can claim points for the whole duration, but like I said above you MUST stay for at least 12 months with ONE employer.
Hi g126
Thank you once again for all your advice. I am planning to look for work after 14 months just to be on the safe side. We don't have culture of vacation here. The only time we get lengthy off is around October/November for festivals with was 10-12 days in total. I am concerned once i leave the workplace and if the CIC case office tries to verify and if the HR manager is also replaced, just assuming although highly unlikely, they might mess things up for me. The thing is i am 31 and with each passing year i will loose 5 points. I have sister living in Ontario but unfortunately they cannot do anything as there is no advantage for having close relatives for OINP. Best of all, it is paused with no sight of re-opening. Hence my sole hope relies on EE at the moment. I lived 7.5 years in Ireland and so used to of western life, it suck here.

Anyway sorry for moaning lol. What i wanted to ask is, what are the primary work documents except secondary or supporting documents for work? I am going to withdraw my EE profile today and focus solely on my IELTS and keep learning French. Currently in level 4 but god its getting harder and harder with my hope depleting if i will ever get CBL 7 for French. Thank you very much and have a great weekend. I hope to get in touch with you if and once i get my ITA :)

Regards
KK

Primary work document - Reference Letter
Secondary/supporting - pay slips, tax slips, bank statements showing salary deposits, etc.

Excellent, good luck with your French!
