Hi everyone

Is it really necessary to have a consultant to guide us through the pr process? R can we do it by ourself?

Really confused and frustrated..
Kindly reply.

It is better not to hire a consultant if you’ve the patience to browse through the threads and get the required info...
It is simple data entry once you’ve ur ECA ielts work exp PCC & PoF

Is the process after receiving an ita difficult to complete? Does any step requires expert knowledge r experience?

It is not difficult if you’ve some computer skills ( which I believe you’ve )

It is just uploading ur docs ...and filling up the personal / address / travel histories
Write a few letters of explanations (if need be)
Scan docs and bring down to 4mb per file and upload ...
I did it myself ...got frustrated couple of times as cic site is not so easy to navigate and at times the data u entered disappear...
but any case it is safest if you do it yourself
By the way I secured my visa

Thank you.. it is so heart warming to hear such things..
We already paid a consult 50000 for processing and 50000 for wes for me n my spouse. Now he is asking us to pay $3500 apart from the government charges for pr to complete the process. That's y thought of taking forward the process by ourself..

Yes take sometime to read the Express Entry guide in this forum (at the top) you can then start the process yourself. Most of the things required, you will need to prepare yourself anyway as @lino82 has mentioned. A consultant is really not required for PR application. This forum is your best source of information. Good luck.

Get ur PCC done....also start to prepare ur last 10 years
1.personal history
2. Address history
3. Travel history
28-11-2007 to 13-3-2008 : student / unemployed
14-3-2008 to 29-5-2009 : employed - xyz ltd
——

if you don’t have exact dates (you won’t be asked to put in exact dates as columns will ask only month and year) guess a near date and make the table such that not single day gap is there..(no harm in being bit smart by guessing a date than leaving it for them to decide )
This table you can use for LoE in the end so that th case officer finds easy to understand ur history...

Keeping all three tables done as above will speed things up for you

One more doubt
I work for an Mnc. And as a part of my onsite i lived in japan for 2 months and paris for 6 months( the days stayed there are less than 6 months). Do I need to declare even this in my address n work history? and wat abt the pcc?

Thank u in advance

Not work history but you should declare in address and personal history (travels) in the post ITA stage. You will need pcc for Paris since it's six months

You have a fantastic score. It's a really straightforward process although exhausting and can be a little confusing. Luckily this forum is a good helpful place for most answers and a lot of us including me are doing the process on our own.

Just keep asking questions if you have the smallest doubt, better to be prepared than get into trouble later. All the best

How did you end up paying 50000 to WES?
