25000 each for me n my spouse.. dont know how did i become so lame and paid as he said..
:( That's weird because it cost my husband and me a total of about 25000 Indian Rupees. So about 12500 per person.

I would recommend giving the consultant a big kick and doing it on your own. You are being ripped off.

I would even forgive that but he asked us to pay Rs 100000 for just creating express entry profile.. then I asked him to stop the process n did it by myself..

That's insane! Good for you to have realised that the consultant was doing you no favors except filling up their own pockets. I would say you should let people here know the name of this consultant so that no one else ends up with the same experience.

Oh! Did he not give you your WES ECA report? They usually upload the copy to your WES account so even if you are able to access your account, you should be able to access your report from there.

Also, I think since you've paid for the services of getting the WES ECA done for you, the consultant is legally bound to give the report to you even if you have not chosen to retain further services.

Thank you.. it is so heart warming to hear such things..
We already paid a consult 50000 for processing and 50000 for wes for me n my spouse. Now he is asking us to pay $3500 apart from the government charges for pr to complete the process. That's y thought of taking forward the process by ourself..
You paid too much. Normally you get good consultant in 70-80 K INR for entire process. But that too is not required at all. I hired consultant for Australia purpose and due to lack of knowledge, we chose wrong skill and still awaiting for invite! However I did some reading on this thread and started trying for Canada option on my own. Guess what, I got the invite within a week, Now in less than 20 days I am done with India PCC, UK PCC, Medical Tests. I have 70 more days left for completing the application and I am on track. This is without any consultant. So please dont pay anything more and be your own consultant! :) The process is straight forward and you can get all sort of help from these forums. Let me know if you have any query and I am happy to help. :) Good luck.

@sagar.ghabade
One more doubt
I work for an Mnc. And as a part of my onsite i lived in paris for 6 months( the days stayed there are less than 6 months I.e 180 days). Do I need to get a pcc for the stay in paris ? If yes where can I find the info on how to get it?

Thank u in advance.

As per the CIC guidelines, If the stay is more than six months, you will need PCC. But safe side you can still apply for PCC. I did so for my UK stay and got the PCC in couple of weeks. Here is the link from CIC which explains regarding PCC for France. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/europe/france.asp

Hi Murthi, if you stayed there less than 6 months why do you say you lived there for 6 months. Not sure what you mean. If you actually were there less than 6 months you do not require a PCC. But then again this whole PR application requires you to proof as much as you can about your history. CRA wants to ensure that you have a clean record before inviting you. The longest check they do is the background check and you don't want to have any loopholes. I actually got PCCs twice just to ensure they were recent enough (1 year validity). So if isn't too much trouble and you want peace of mind just get it eventhough it's not a full 6 months but close to it. Some may advise you that it's not needed but from what I have seen better to have more than less. Just my recommendation.
More importantly have you started the application? You need to start asap if you haven't and in the mean time get all the documents in place as it takes time.

180 days is indeed 6 months. So yes you should apply.
